Surroundings: Vencimont is a nice village which lies in the Houille valley, approx, 35 km. south of Dinant. It is set in a scenic area, perfect for making beautiful walks. For the canoe lovers amongst you, there are several rivers which offer good options. In the near vicinity of the village Vencimont, you will find several rock formations which have names such as Tête de Chien (Dog head) and the Châmbre du Curé (the Pastor?s Room). It is an excellent environment to explore by bicycle or mountain bike (which you can rent in the village). During the summer months you could visit one of the many handycraft markets in the area. Your little ones will certainly enjoy themselves in the Récréalle in Alle sur Semois where they can do all sorts of activities including canoeing and playing mini golf. Furthermore the children?s farm of Frahan, the animal park of Rochehaut and the tourist train are recommendable. The park: the holiday park lies in a beautiful woody area of 22 ha. There are 50 terraced (of the semi-detached type) or detached wooden chalets (6-pers. BE-5575-01 and 6-pers. BE-5575-02 (comletely renovated) or 8-pers. BE-5575-03). An ideal destination for the lovers of nature and piece and quiet. The accommodations; The different chalets are spread throughout the park, simple but of good standard and finished with lots of wood. Recently all chalets of the type BE-5575-02 were completely renovated. All chalets have a garden with terrace/veranda and garden furniture. Every chalet also has a solid outdoor fireplace which can also be used as a barbecue. On request a few chalets of the type BE-5575-01 are available with fireplace.
