Gîtel Salle 1024 is in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes in the small town of Salle in the commune of Bertogne. De Gîtel is a cross between a home and a hotel: with the space, privacy and freedom of a home combined with the luxury and comfort of a hotel.
It is a 400-year old farmhouse consisting of the main building, an annexe (conference room), a built-in swimming pool, a garden with a sun terrace and a covered and heated barbecue terrace.
The farmhouse was completely renovated from 2005 to 2007. This renovation and modernization turned the old farmhouse into luxury accommodation for groups of between 10 and 20 people.
Stables became bedrooms and the hayloft was converted into a big living room. Comfort and sustainability were the themes of the renovation from the start. The property has 10 bedrooms each with two beds and its own bathroom. Placing extra (children?s) beds is no problem.
