In a peaceful side street, 24 km. south of Kassel, situated Grossalmerode lies the holiday house of the family Groh. The 60 m² large house is located on the ground floor and radiates a cosy and domestic atmosphere. From the kitchen you have direct access to the spacious and completely fenced garden where you will find garden furniture and a barbeque at your disposal. The surroundings invite you to make endless trips, so you will need to make time to use the garden. At first Grosslamerode is well known as a walking paradise. It is situated between the three highest tops of the Kurhesic mountain land and offers a diversity of 25 walking courses through the nearby national park Meiszner-Kaufunger Wald. In the seventeenth century this area was world famous for its glass industry, which makes a visit to the glass blowing museum worth your while. Other holiday tips can be found in the house or at the local Tourist Information Centre, but one thing for sure, holiday house Groh offers many possibilities and is an ideally operating base to explore the Hessic Mountain land.
