The villa has been restored in the typical style of Tuscany (using the original construction materials: terracotta, wood, stone) and furnished with ancient furniture according to the local tradition. It is situated in a beautiful mountainous area of Tuscany (50 Kms northern of Lucca). The position - with panoramic views on the neighbouring mountains - on an altitude of approximately 550m, guarantees a not too warm climate in the summertime. It is a good point of departure point to visit cities such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and many other small villages and on the other side for a day to sea (on 56 km distance) or in the mountains (the mountain of Abetone 1400-1900 meters high is 46 Kms far away, in the winter it is also possible to ski there).
The villa has a private swimming pool and it is possible to close the access to the pool (ideal for families with small children). To eat outiside also available a terrace with table and and chairs from where you can enjoy the panorama. Grocery store and restaurant are available in the town of Villa Collemandina, 1,5 Kms from the villa.
Nearest golf clubs: Versilia Golf Club (18 holes, situated near Pietrasanta), Cosmopolitan golf (18 holes situated near Pisa), Tirrenia Golf Club (9 holes situated near Pisa), Fontevivo golf club (9 holes situated near Pisa).
