A beautiful three bedroomed house on three floors in an exclusive and truly tranquil setting. Situated within a small brand new gated condominium with two pools and a floodlit tennis court, the house has contemporary furnishings and is well equipped for 6 people. There are fabulous ocean views from the garden, terrace and bedrooms and miles of virtually empty white sandy beaches stretch in either direction.
This part of Portugal is a surfer's paradise but is still largely undiscovered by holiday makers even though it is just a 50 minute drive from Lisbon airport. There are bars and restaurants in the nearby resort of Areia Branca which can be reached by a stroll along the beach. The nearest town is Lourinha which is a five minute drive away and has plenty of shops, three large supermarkets, several restaurants, banks and a market. Also within a short drive is the beautiful world heritage site of Obidos and the famous lagoon at Foz d'Arelho.
The property is part of a small gated condominium of 21 houses built in a quiet traditional Portuguese village between Areia Branca and Lourinha on the Silver Coast. The condominium, which is set in lovely landscaped grounds has secure underground parking, a large shared pool, a children's pool, a free floodlit tennis court and private pedestrian access to the cliff path leading to the breathtakingly beautiful local beach which has white sand and hardly a soul in sight!
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with a security video phone, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob, a cloakroom and a lovely lounge diner with a 32 inch flat screen TV, DVD player and a PlayStation 2 with games and controllers. Patio doors lead to the terrace and a small lawned garden just steps from the swimming pool. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms (one with jacuzzi bath, WC, bidet and basin and the other has a shower cubicle, WC, bidet and basin). The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the pool and stunning sea views. On the second floor there is a large attic bedroom with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower, hip bath, WC and basin. This bedroom also has a balcony with amazing sea views. There are electric shutters to all windows.
The property is well equipped with garden furniture, tennis racquets, books, CDs, games, a BBQ, binoculors, two-way radio set, beach parasols, body boards, sun beds, inflatables for the pool etc. The house also has a glass fronted open fire and full gas central heating for the winter months.
25% deposit is required on booking and the balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £150 is returnable following satisfactory inspection of the property. As far as possible, bookings periods are flexible to enable guests to secure best deals on flights. Minimum rent in high-peak season is one week.

Local activities in and around Areia Branca, Costa de Lisbon
Surfing lessons and the hire of boards available nearby at Area Branca, Peniche and Baleal. Go-karting track only 5 minutes away. A water park is on the outskirts of Peniche (15 minutes drive) and the lagoon near Obidos has a friendly water sports school where you can try your hand at canooing, windsurfing, kite surfing and wake boarding. The museum at Lourinha house Portugal's largest collection of fossils and is a must for those who are interested in dinosaurs. Lisbon is only 50 minutes away and there is a regular bus service for those who prefer not to drive there. Lisbon is a wonderful city with something for everyone.
From Lisbon airport, take the A8 towards Leiria and exit at Junction 9. Follow signs to towards Lourinha. Journey time 50 minutes. Flights to Lisbon include easyJet, Monarch, TAP & BMI Baby.
