They say location is everything...... Set in the small village of Gokbel in the foothills outside Dalyan with stunning views across the valley to the lake, beach, sea and a backdrop of mountains - the villa definitely has the wow factor in an oasis of peace and relaxation. You will find nothing comparable around Dalyan. You may find it convenient to hire a car or scooter although there is a cheap local taxi service.
Sleeping 6 this fully air conditioned villa with its private pool is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. The conversion of Cicek Evi was finished in 2007. We have tried to keep the villa as Turkish as possible and have used local builders and craftsmen. This is our home it has not been built as a commercial venture.
The double bedrooms open out onto a large balcony that runs across the width of the villa and gives gated access to the swimming pool. The downstairs is one large open plan area with a spacious kitchen, dining table for 8 people and two sitting areas; a stone fire place for a cosy autumn evening. French doors open out onto the S/W facing veranda which mirrors the balcony. To sit, drink in hand and watch the sunset hmmm.
Outside there is a barbecue, separate covered seating area, sun lounges an outside shower and terraced garden with a wide selection of fruit trees including white mulberries, pomegranates, lemons, oranges and grapes. Dalyan is situated on a pretty reed river in a conservation area famous for the loggerhead turtle and Iztuzu beach - visitors come back year after year, it is very special offering sea, lake, good food, and very friendly locals.

2 Double Bedrooms, 1 Twin Bedroom. The 2 double bedrooms open out onto the veranda and have stunning views, the twin looks over the garden and pool. All rooms have airconditioning. Our guests comment on the comfortable beds.

Cooker, Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious with french doors leading out to the pool and barbecue area.

Real Fire, Air Conditioning, House Linen, Towels Provided. Maid service will be offered as an extra with prior arrangement

Seating for 8. Eat either in the covered barbecue area, on the veranda or in the open plan living area

The pool is not fenced and the garden is terraced. You will need a car and scooter for convenience
Local activities in and around Dalyan, Aegean Coast
Things to do in and around Cicek. Total relaxation - Laze by the pool, order a barbecue to be cooked at the villa, have a Turkish Bath or a massage, Have a Turkish shave and hair cut.
Relaxation - swimming in either the fresh water lake or the sea. A moonlight cruise or barbecue on the lake. Visit the mud baths and sulphur springs. Try one of the numerous restaurants in Dalyan. Go bird watching.
Cultural with a little bit of effort - take the row boat over to the Lycian tombs visit Caunos the Roman ruins. Visit Fethiye or take a day trip to Ephersus.
Restless - try a walk, visit the markets of Dalyan Koyceqiz or Fethiye. Take a jeep safari, fishing snorkelling, play golf. Take a gulet from Gocek around 12 Islands. Seriously restless - riding, diving, canoeing, mountain biking.
Need an adrenalin run - white water rafting, microlite over the Dalyan Delta.
Transfers are included from the airport. 12 minutes from Dalyan but near empty roads, easy drive, 8 minutes to the beach, plenty of parking. Please contact owners for more details.

Rental Notes: Oskan is our gardener, pool cleaner and security and will help with any small problem. Oruc International, our Turkish representatives are there to help and support wherever necessary - problems, trips, meals. They will transfer you from the airport and can arrange car hire etc.,
