Coast is a recently built holiday house by the seaside in the popular family resort of Fort-Mahon-Plage. This pretty house has lots of style as well as plenty of practical features and equipment.
The small resort of Fort-Mahon Plage on the Cote d’Opale is a perfect holiday base for young families, with all kinds of amenities and amusements. These include a superb beach, mini-golf, horse and bicycle rides, a rock-climbing wall, a tropical Aqua Park pool with slides and waves, and many other activities available in and around this family oriented seaside resort, less than an hour from Calais.
The famous Belle-Dune golf course, voted one of the ten best courses in France, is just a few hundred yards away, as are the first-class riding stables. You'll be within easy walking distance of good family welcoming restaurants,yet tucked away in a quiet residential neighbourhood where traffic is minimal and there are no noisy crowds.
Coast is furnished in a modern style, with original modern art, stylish lighting and comfortable modern furniture. There’s room for a good size dining table as well as a breakfast bar in the spacious open-plan ground floor living room. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, with an electric oven, 4-ring hob, microwave, automatic coffee maker, toaster, kettle and a range of quality utensils.
There’s a pleasant terrace, a small lawn (you don’t have to mow it!), a table and chairs for outdoor meals, and a lockable garden shed where you’ll find garden furniture and where you can store your bikes, golf clubs, suitcases or other bulky bits and pieces.

Local activities in and around Quend, North East
The area is rich in attractions. Just 15 minutes away you'll enjoy a day out arond the Somme Bay with its attractive old fishing ports of Le Crotoy and St Valery linked by a steam railway. Also nearby is the famous Marquenterre bird sanctuary where you'll see an enormous variety of native and migratory birds.
The pretty market town of Rue (only 15 km) is worth a visit and you'll find excellent shopping in the larger towns of Abbeville (25 mins) and Berck (18 mins).
The battlefields of the Somme make for a poignant and fascinating outing, and you'll also find the historic battlefields of Crecy (25 mins) and Agincourt (50 mins) nearby.
Trains to Paris run daily from Rang du Fliers and Abbeville. The fastest get you to Gare du Nord in 2 hrs.
Take the A16 motorway from Calais or Boulogne towards Abbeville, Amiens, Rouen. Exit at junction 24 and follow the signs to Fort Mahon.
