Formerly the Old Parish Church it was built in 1633 and consecrated in 1935. It was a place of worship until it was deconsecrated in 1971 and imaginately converted into a spacious home in 1999. Built in 1633 a unique 6 bedroomed converted church retaining many original features including stained glass windows, bell tower, exceptional triple height living space with exposed beams. The first floor sitting room was the original choir gallery with stained glass window to the front of the church having a view of the Forth Road Bridge, stone mantlepiece, access hatch to bell tower which still has the original bell.
Study - Spectactular space open to the living/dining room, stainless steel railings and archway to steps down to living area.
Master bedroom (4) A large comfortable bedroom with elegant glazed arched internal window to the study and stained glass windows to the side, large walk-in wardrobe. En-Suite Shower Room, spacious with stained glass window.
Bedroom (5) Good sized bedroom with king sized bed, exposed beams and fitted wardrobe. Bedroom (6) King sized bed, stained glass windows and exposed beams. White cast iron roll top bath with overhead shower, wc and wh basin .. and stained glass window!
Outside Access to private locked South facing graveyard and seating area - very interesting history in the gravestones. Storage Shed suitable for storage of bikes etc.

South Queensferry is a very quaint and pretty village and has spectacular views of the Forth Road and Rail Bridges and across the Firth of Forth to Fife. Excellent local amenities including award winning riverside bars and restaurants and shops are just a short walk and excellent rail and bus links make it ideal for visits into Edinburgh city centre and to Fife.
