The ground floor comprises of kitchen, lounge, third bedroom and family bathroom. The first floor has 2 double bedrooms, both with separate balconies. In addition, this property also has a spacious sun terrace accessed via the first floor.
Tsambika is one of the most beautiful places on the east coast of the island. Its' unspoilt beauty is what attracts visitors year after year. Tsambika boasts one of the most stunning beaches on the island with crystal clear waters and a long stretch of golden sand with many tavernas, bars and a beach sports centre.
The Monastery of Panagia is one of the many delights Tsambika has to offer, with the tiny monastery perched high on a 287m hill. The legend says that women who wish to become pregnant climb the 300 steps to the monastery and pray to the icon of the Panagia (Virgin Mary). When the lady falls pregnant she names the child either Tsambikos if it is a boy or Tsambika if it is a girl. The legend is believed througout Greece and every year the festival of the Panagia at Tsambika attracts thousands of people from all over the country.

The Tsambika area has two attractions: a surprisingly undeveloped beach, and the monastery of Panagia. Tsambika, known also as Kyra, a tiny white building perched on top of a huge cone-shaped hill that towers to a height of 287m above the beach. Tsambika's fine swathe of sand and lack of background buildings are definite plusses, but they ensure the beaches popularity by day and there are watersports available here during the season.
The monastery is reached by a concrete road that twists steeply up from the highway, just before the beach access road. You park just beyond the Panoramic Restuarant and finish the journey on foot up winding stone stairs through pine trees. Its a long haul - there are 307 steps, marked at 100 step intervals. The monastery is no more than a tiny chapel and courtyard, but the views are spectacular, and the chapel contains a greatly revered icon of the Annunciation that legend says arrived miraculously and inexplicably form Cyprus. A car is essential for any of our guests staying in our Tsambika villas.
Tsambika is approximatley 30km south from Rhodes Airport on the main East Coast Road.
