Janet Poole House is located in refurbished 200 year old Georgian Town Houses in the heart of Bloomsbury, within walking distance of many famous London Landmarks, including: The British Museum, The British Library, UCL (University College London), the world renowned shopping of Oxford Street, Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, cinemas, restaurants and theatre land, making Bloomsbury one of the liveliest areas of the Capital.
The building comprises of three 18th century, Grade II listed, merchant’s homes, which have been sympathetically joined and onverted to offer a variety of accommodation. Minimum stay : 1 night. We offer spacious self contained twin studio with separate or integral kitchen and bathroom. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment, the apartments now offer the ambiance and character necessary to create a home away from home, whether you are traveling on business or for pleasure.
All studios have air-cooling units and include en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped and fitted kitchen including cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils and crockery, colour TV and individual direct dial telephone line.
On your arrival, all beds are fully made up. For stays longer than 7 nights, a weekly cleaning service, change of linen and towels are included in the price. Additional maid service can be arranged locally.
Within the building there is a well equipped laundry and ironing room. In addition to a guest lounge which hosts TV, we have a bright and sunny courtyard both of which offer a peaceful escape.
A range of other “a la carte services” are available on request for an extra charge: additional cleaning facilities, dry cleaning, internet wireless access, fax, welcome food pack. We are very close to the main shopping areas of London, including Oxford Street, Regent Street and of course, the never to be forgotten Soho with his bars and restaurants. There are also numerous Museums and Art Galleries in the vicinity so, whatever your taste, then our part of London can provide it.
For those who only wish to browse around the shops then we have lots of antique shops in the area, including Camden Market , which is a short bus ride away. Janet Poole House is also within walking distance of Covent Garden.
Guests will find our location ideal for visiting the major tourist attractions of London, we are well served by public transport (tube, main line rail and on the main bus route to the West End).
