The accommodation consists of a brand new studio apartment on the first floor of the newly built, quality Predela complex which sleeps 2/3. It is furnished to a high standard. The studio has a double bed, sofa bed and single folding bed. TV and DVD. Fully fitted kitchen; including oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer. Dining area for 4 people. Bedding and towels are provided. The studio has a ski locker situated in the basement for your convenience.
The complex also boasts an indoor swimming pool, fitness room, jacuzzi and sauna which are all available free to guests. There is a poolside cafe and shops on the ground floor. The Predela complex is conveniently located 50 metres from the Gondola lift station, it offers affordable skiing access directly from the slopes. Ski packs and passes can be obtained from a number of outlets close by, or speak to our agent who may be able to arrange discount!

Bansko offers all year round holiday opportunities whatever your interests. Whilst the ski season operates from mid December until end of April there is still plenty to do during spring, summer and autumn. Average temperatures at this time are between 25 - 30 degrees. The picturesque centre of the lovely old town is within walking distance with its bars and typical Bulgarian mexana (taverns). The food and drink on offer is excellent and is a third of the cost of a typical French resort. Bansko offers exceptional value for money.

The ski season starts in mid December and lasts through until the end of April. Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
Bansko is an excellent place to visit during the summer - whilst Bulgaria is well known for its skiing, few foreigners are aware of the vast range of other activities available. The famous Bansko Jazz Festival is held in the town every summer and there are numerous other festivals also held throughout the year.
Pirin Mountains: The area is fantastic for hiking, whether experienced or novice, there are walks for all levels. Local buses are available from Bansko to the Vihren hut (approx. 10 km) where all trails are marked. The scenery is breathtaking - beautiful mountains and crystal clear lakes. Hut to hut walking (book through tourist information) is also available. Mountain biking is just beginning to be developed and the area is also famous for rock climbing.
Bird watching: Bansko is great for bird watching and is a nesting ground for most European species. Many Asian birds are also sighted.
Rila Monastery: The best known of Bulgaria's monasteries - famed for its architecture and its mountainous setting. Recognised by UNESCO as part of the World Cultural Heritage, the monastery is ringed by mighty walls which give the outward appearance of a fortress.
Dancing bear park: Partly funded by the Bridget Bardot Foundation this is the world's largest and most sophisticated rehabilitation park for bears. The park provides a refuge for beasts that have been exploited as dancing bears - a practice which was outlawed in 2002.
Easyjet fly from Gatwick and Ryanair are due to fly from Northern England to Plovdiv shortly. Direct and indirect flights from many UK airports to Sofia.

Rental Notes: We will arrange the handover of keys through our agent in Bansko. They will show you around the studio and be there to help you during your stay. A £100 key deposit is payable to our agent on arrival. This will be returned to you at the end of your stay provided everything is in order. For daytime arrivals they also offer a welcome drink.
For key weeks (Xmas/New Year) we request a deposit of 50% on booking. All other times a 30% deposit is requested. We are in touch with other owners in the complex and can arrange accommodation for larger groups.
