This luxury privately owned accomodation, new in August 2007 is situated at Limefitt Park in the Troutbeck Valley, just 3 miles from bustling Windermere. The lodge is larger than average and briefly comprises spacious open plan living area with TV, DVD & CD. Kitchen area includes washing machine & dishwasher. Lounge & dining area leads onto a large furnished decked area with breathtaking views of High Street & Froswick fells. Gas central heating & double glazing make the property ideal for holidays all year round.
Our modern fully equiped kitchen area boasts electric oven with gas hob & extractor, washing machine, dishwasher, seperate fridge & full size freezer. Kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, slow cooker and small extras including picnic ware & Thermos flask. The lodge has two bedrooms, one double with large walk in wardrobe , en-suite shower room, WC & sink. The second bedroom is twin also with large walk in wardrobe. Both bedrooms are fitted with black-out blinds. In addition there is a family sized bathroom with bath, shower over, WC & sink.
A large selection of toys, games & DVD's are provided. All fuel, bedlinen & towels are provided plus private parking at lodge. A travel cot is available at no extra cost, however you must bring your own linen & bedding for this. Strictly no smoking & no pets.
Limefitt Park is situated in the Troutbeck Valley, one of the Lake District's most beautiful & is ideally placed for fell walking & mountain biking from the door. On site facilities include the Haybarn Inn, a traditional pub serving meals, childrens indoor play room, internet access. Large outdoor adventure playground, pony treking & well equipped shop.
Indoor leisure facilities available nearby at Whitcross Bay include pool, sauna, solarium & gym, payable locally & available Mar-Nov.

A visitors guide is provided in the Lodge detailing all local attractions, one of the nearest being Bowness on Windermere with Lake cruises & Brockhole Lakeside visitors centre with large outdoor play area, lake access, gardens & restaurant, both approx 3 miles. The large market town of kendal is approx 15 mins away & well worth a visit. A gentle ramble will take you to Troutbeck village & Townend historic house, the gentlemen farmers here once sheep farmed some 800 acres of the Troutbeck valley.
Leave the M6 at J36, take the A591 following signs for Windermere, take the A592 at the mini roundabout, also signposted for Kirkstone Pass & Limefitt Park. We are 2 and a half miles on the right.

Rental Notes: Weekly change over is on a Saturday, check in approx 4pm & vacation must be by 10am on date of departure. Weekend breaks are Friday - Monday. Midweek breaks are Mon - Fri. Please e-mail or call us for weekend or midweek rates.
£100 will secure your booking & full balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival. Prices are inc of gas, electricity, all bedding, bedlinen & towels. Please bring your own bedding if using our travel cot.
A £50 refunable breakage deposit is payable with your final balance.
A cleaning charge of £34 must be added to your final balance.
