To add to its charm, it lies within several hundred feet of the Ventnor Cricket Club as well as the Island’s largest and most beautiful Botanic Gardens and the attractive and very popular Steephill Cove Beach. This is all located within “a conservation area of outstanding natural undercliff beauty” and adjoins a large area of “coastline of special scientific interest” to the west, which includes significant bird migration points.
To the east, within a 15-minute walk, is the seaside town centre of Ventnor, with tropical terraces and palm trees. Access is by either the main road, which passes Ventnor Public Park with formal flower beds, the Victorian bandstand and putting greens, or by a coastal cliff seaside path via the Ventnor Beach, the Esplanade and the Cascade.

Those arriving with a car will discover that they could easily enjoy an entire week without having to use it!Two parking spaces at the main road end of a sloping/narrow private drive lead to the cottage, two steps or a grass slope lead up to a covered, seated patio and an open patio and level lawns. Two further steps lead to inside and an open plan cottage. This modern yet classic cottage is built of local limestone with 12-inch thick walls, double-glazing and insulation making it exceptionally cosy and quiet.

£280 weekly for only 1-2 persons 27 May to 1 July and 2 September to 4 November with use of cottage restricted to one bedroom choice of one double downstairs or two single beds upstairs.
Pet Charge £25 per week. £45 extra per week for full gas central heating if required at the time of booking. Bedding hire £5 per person. Let Wednesday to Wednesday. Vacation by 10am, occupation from 3pm. Tourist Board Grading: 3 Stars.
