Senorio de Roda is situated 2 minutes from the town of Los Alcazares with its beautiful beach and promenades, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and excellent facilities, 5 minutes from other Mar Menor beaches and only 500 metres from the 18 hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas at Roda golf.
The area is ideal for families and golfers alike. The Mar Menor, which means little sea in Spanish, is ideal for families with young children since the sea temperature is normally a few degrees warmer and calmer then the Mediterranean beyond the La Manga strip and it remains shallow for some way out.
For golfing parties there are numerous golf courses within easy reach of the house, including Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and La Manga. Watersports are available at the Mar Menor and there are riding stables in the area giving the opportunity of viewing the countryside on horseback.
The lovely historical cities of Cartegena and Murcia are within 20 minutes drive, providing shops, bars, restaurants and beautiful architecture.
The house is a 7 minute drive from Murcia Airport and a 50 minute drive from Alicante Airport, both of which are served by various airlines including, Easy Jet, Ryanair, Air Berlin and Iberia amongst others..
Local car hire is reasonably priced, but if not required, arrangements can be made for pick up and return to the airport at the end of your stay.
