Porto Antigo is a new and exclusive beachfront development, widely acknowledged as the most prestigious location on the tropical island of Sal. Villa 9 is one of the few fronting the beach, which is only six steps away.
The villa has brand new air conditioning. There is a large swimming pool twenty metres to the left of the villa. Patio furniture and sun loungers are supplied, and the development including the pool and harbour are beautifully lit at night. Villa 9 being directly beachfront, has the benefit of one of the few roof terraces on the delelopment, giving stunning views of the old harbour and Santa Maria Bay.
The villa has the benefit of being fully fitted with new furniture of a high standard throughout. All the amenities of Santa Maria town, including restaurants and shops are within a few minutes walking distance, and Papayas Bar & Restaurant, propably the best situated in the entire islands, is a thirty second level stroll away.

Full range of water sports available locally including PADI scuba diving/training, windsurfing, kite surfing, surfing and sea angling from both shore and boat.
PADI diving instruction at all levels can be arranged with a fully qualified British instructor. Wreck and cave diving can also be arranged upon request.
Car and quad bike hire available. All local activities operate within walking distance of Porto Antigo.
All taxi drivers at Sal Airport know Porto Antigo and after a fiteen minute journey you will be at the apartment. The taxi fare is Euro 10 or 1000 CV Escudo as at January 2008.
