Bourdiel is a restored hill farm of the Napoleonic era situated 2km from the village of Engayrac. Set in rolling farmlands and valleys with marvelous views across the surrounding countryside, both houses have been tastefully and comfortably restored to offer guests an ideal ambience to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the region. The grounds extend to over 5 acres. Nearest main Town: Agen - 15 minutes drive

Accommodation: La Ferme is a typical Quercy stone built farmhouse that has been renovated to provide luxury accommodation. The living room has a high beamed ceiling with central stone fireplace. At one end is a dining area and oak fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, gas cooker and dishwasher. At the other, a spacious sitting area with patio doors leading to a covered terrace with BBQ, looking westward over the swimming pool and valley. After all the wonderful local foods you may wish to work out in the new gym, a small extra charge is requested, and use restricted to adults.
A romantic master bedroom with four poster bed has patio doors to both front and side terraces and en-suite shower and toilet. There is a second double bedroom also with en-suite shower and toilet, and door to patio. The mezzanine has two single beds, toilet with washbasin and a small sitting area (restricted headroom in part). Satellite TV.
The pool (10 x 6m) is situated on a lower terrace, secluded, yet with superb panoramas over the valley. Plenty of pool loungers and cushions are available. A poolside shower is also provided. There is a small fish pond below the pool. Facilities (for both properties) include ample car parking, Petanque area, laundry, bicycles and swings. Services offered include reflexology, babysitting and pre-arrival packs.

The Lot Valley, offers a gentle beauty, it is essentially deep provincial South West France. Generally quieter than most regions, the departments covered are Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot & Dordogne. there is something is here to suit all the family, including: fishing, tennis, walking, golf, cycling, horse-riding, lake swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, and much, much, more. Normally the area has a moderate climate with long Spring and Autumn seasons and Summers that can be very hot! Essentially it is the heart of farming land and you can expect to see lush landscapes with spectacular fields of sunflowers, maize and tobacco and all through the year a wonderful variety of changing colours and hues.
Walibi Theme Park
Walibi Aquitaine, located just a few kilometres away from Agen, Walibi Aquitaine nestles in over 30 hecatres of lush greenery, and is watched over by a genuine 18th Century castle. A world filled with pleasure, with its numerous rides, spectacular shows and special events that succeed each other at a relentless pace, where everyone will spend an unforgettable day out where strong emotions, thrills, laughter and enjoyment all intermingle! Situated northwest of Agen on the A62. Open 7 days a week from the middle of June through to the end of August, and at weekends outside this time. Children (3-11 yrs)
Five ropes courses in the trees, starting at the green and blue courses for small children, and progressing in difficulty through white, red and black courses. Harnesses and instruction are included. If you are not interested in climbing, there is also mini-golf to enjoy, a small farm and the snail museum. Take a picnic and make a day of it. Situated at Lacapelle-Biron on the D420, north-west of Fumel. Open every day 0900 to 2000 during July and August, and at weekends at other times.
Rental Notes: Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted during peak and high seasons. Customers are asked that they ensure that they do not arrive at the property until after 4pm on the day of arrival and they must depart before 10am on the day of departure.
