Hafod Grove (4 star WTB) consists of Hafod Grove house; a most gracious, period gentleman's residence which sleeps up to 12 people and Hafod Villa; the attached charming, garden cottage which sleeps up to 6 - Dogs Welcome. Each property is very private having entirely separate drives, parking and gardens.
Located within the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park in a delightful setting Hafod Grove is within walking distance of the Pembrokeshire coastal path and lovely Ceibwr Bay (1.5mls). The area has the most beautiful and varied scenery with three lovely sandy beaches within three miles, the Preseli mountains and Gwaun valley a short drive away.
Situated between the the quaint, market town of Cardigan and the pretty, coastal village of Newport it makes an ideal toruing area to explore the 3 counties of Pembrokeshire, Cardiganshire and Carmarthenshire. Nearby there is lots to do and see, including riding, watersports, golf and much more in wonderful unspoiled surroundings.

Hafod Grove House is lovely, period mansion house with spacious accommodation for up 12 people. There are with seaviews from the front bedrooms and garden. The property has a large farmhouse kitchen with an aga and a table seating 12 people. It is also well equipped with a gas cooker, dishwasher etc.
There are two receptions both double aspect, one leading to delightful sun trap patio which is ideal for dining alfresco and barbeques. There is a downstairs double bedroom suite with a shower room opposite which makes it ideal for the elderly or semi-ambient.
The spacious arched hall leads up to the first floor where there is a master bedroom with a luxury en-suite with double-ended, antique bath, power shower etc. A kingsize bedroom with 6' Victorian bath, power shower, etc. Two twin bedded rooms with charming outlooks' over the garden.
At the top of the servants stairs (Bring your Butler!) is a cute childrens buck bedroom over-looking woodland. There are cots and highchairs available on request. The house stands in over an acre of lovely, private gardens with lovely views, childrens swings, Barbeque / Patio area etc.
Hafod Villa is a delightful, sunny garden cottage which sleeps up to 12 people. Up to 3 well behaved medium dogs are welcome free. Hafod Villa has it's own entrance drive and very, secluded, huge garden with swings and large parking area. There is a sunny conservatory, cosy sitting room with log burner and very spacious, bright 20' kitchen/dining room. There is a downstairs twin bedded room and upstairs there is a family bathroom and a further two bedrooms - one double; these have both have delightful views over the garden.
Whilst attached and easily combined via a high solid fence and gate, the Houses are very private both with large individual gardens, entrance drives and parking.

Locally there are numerous outdoor activities to enjoy including walking or riding over the Preselli Hills, Cycling along Gwaun Valley, own a pony for the day at Yet Wen, Brynberian, Golf at Newport Golf Club, Sailing at Newport as well as freshwater trout and salmon and sea fishing.
For those interested in the arts there is a theatre, cinema, open air theatre productions, art galleries and craft workshop trails all within a short car ride.
Local historical places of interest include Pentre Ifan pre-historic burial chamber, St Dogmaels Abbey, Kilgerran Castle, and Castel Henllys a Pre-Historic Fortress provide fascinating excursions very nearby.
The area is wonderful for walking both serious of gentle strolls with beautiful views and wide variety of landscape from the gorse and heather strewn moors of the Preselli Mountains, to the County wide views from their heights offering fabulous horse riding country. The Gwaun Valley is a lovely secluded area to explore both on foot by bike or on horseback.
