In Piesport, there are several excellent restaurants and "Straußwirtschaften" that will spoil you with typical Moselle delicacies and Moselle wine from their own wine cellars.
Due to the central location, you can view the many sights both by bus, boat, bicycle or car. The volcanic lakes in the Eifel, the Nuremburg ring, the historic city of Trier, Traben, Trarbach the health resort of Bad Bertrich (thermal baths), Bernkastel and Cochem with its fortress or the Hunsrück with the stainless steel city of Idar-Oberstein are some of the many interesting attractions. You can also choose from several activities in Piesport and the surrounding areas such as paragliding, cycling (the Maare-Moezel cycling route) and you can also take a nice boat trip over the Moselle.
