This charming detached miners cottage is just a 30 min drive away from the glorious south coast beaches and situated in an ideal location for walking enthusiasts to explore the wilds of Bodmin Moor. Built in 1853, East Cottage retains many period features such as flagstone floors, beamed ceilings, stone walls and an oil fired rayburn in the kitchen (dont panic there is also an electric cooker)! Outside enjoy the sun by sitting in the pretty cottage garden.
The village of Tremar is just 1 mile away from the larger village of St Cleer which offers a post office, 2 public houses, church and a comprehensive farm shop offering good local produce. Siblyback Lake is just a 5 minute drive away, where you can enjoy various water sports, angling, play area for the children, and some of the best ice cream around!!. The walk around the lake is a must. for more comprehensive shopping the market town of Liskeard is just 2.5 miles away. Here you will find larger supermarkets and a leisure complex with Gym facilities and swimming pool.
Parking for the cottage is on road in the village and all electricity is included. Bed Linen and towels are supplied. There is an open fire in the lounge for out of season cosy nights in, TV, DVD, and video player. The shower room is on the ground floor and upstairs there are two bedrooms - one double and a twin. Pets are welcome to join you.
