This traditional old country villa is set in the prestigious residential area of La Font amongst attractive grounds, just a 15 minute walk from Pollensa. It is ideal for couples or families not wanting to be confined by the use of a car during their holiday.

The villa is set amongst attractive grounds of lawns, palm trees and colourful flowers and is a lovely old country villa built and furnished in a rustic, traditional Mallorcan style. The grounds are enclosed and the villa accessed through an impressive gateway and drive at the front of the property.
The entrance is from a furnished front porch which leads into the living /dining room which has an impressive fireplace and dining table seating six. There is a separate living room with a bar, satellite television, DVD and CD player. Stairs lead up to a loft area set above the living room which has a fireplace and an additional sitting area from which stairs leads upto a roof terrace with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside to the mountains.
The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave and has door opening the rear terrace.
The three air-conditioned bedrooms are located on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom with a bathroom en suite (half bath only) and two twin bedrooms which share a separate full bathroom.
At the rear of the house there is a covered terrace which has a large wooden table, the perfect setting for long leisurely lunches. On one side of the terrace there is an outside kitchen and laundry room with a washing machine, whilst on the other side there is a covered barbecue with a built in barbecue and an old oven.
The private swimming pool, measures 9 x 4.5 metres, is situated at the side of the house amongst the lawns and is surrounded by wooden decking . The pool is accessed by a ladder and has been fenced, making it ideal for families.
The mature gardens are a mixture of lawns, palm trees and colourful flowers and they also include a children’s playground.

Local activities in and around Pollensa, Mallorca
Historic POLLENSA is situated in the hills, in the north of Mallorca, in the lee of the Tramuntana Mountains. It is a peaceful old town that has been largely unaffected by tourism. The town was established a few miles inland to protect against any sudden pirate attacks; its harbour, Puerto Pollensa, was left as an unprotected outpost.
Some of Pollensa's historic medieval centre remains around the Plaça Major, the main square, including the church of Nostra Senyora dels Àngels. Other than the church, the main square houses a cluster of bars and cafés, and on Sunday morning, a busy market. Just north of the square is the Via Crucis (Way of the Cross), a long stone stairway up the slope of El Calvario, bordered by ancient cypress trees. At the top of El Calvario, is a small chapel. On Good Friday, a figure of Jesus is slowly carried down the steps by torchlight in the Davallament (Lowering).

The resort's celebrated Pine Walk promenade overlooks the wide sandy beach and the bay, dotted with the colourful sails of yachts. Some of the best fish restaurants on Mallorca are to found along the promenade and you will also find a wide range of cuisines to suit every taste. The resort offers all the usual watersports enjoyed from various operators at the marina and along the beach. Glass bottom boat trips are available from the port. There are also opportunities for hiking along walking trails in the surrounding hills and scenic mountains.
CALA SAN VICENC - Puerto Pollensa's near neighbour is an attractive resort that nestles round 4 sandy coves in the shadow of the Formentor Peninsula and is perfect for family holidays.
The main airport is Palma de Mallorca, which is served by airlines from all over Europe. All major car hire companies are represented at Palma Airport and also at Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa.
