This former fishermans cottage has been recently renovated and tastefully decorated and is located in the small East Yorkshire coastal village of Flamborough.
The cottage is ideally situated at the North side of the village a 15 minute walk to the North Landing where local fisherman can still be seen bringing in their catch from the North sea.
The cottage is ideally placed in the village for all local amenities including pubs, restaurants and village shops.
The cottage has a small cosy living room with a real coal fire and a separate dining room, there is a small well fitted kitchen. The backdoor leads to an outhouse which in turn leads out to a "small secret garden" which enjoys the sun most of the day, it is equipped with a small BBQ, garden furniture and flower pots.
The Upstairs (please note that the staircase is quite narrow) there is a double bedroom and a small bedroom with a single bed, an additional camp bed is also available , therefore this room is ideally suited for children. The bathroom comprises of a W.C. a washbasin and a bath with an electric shower over.

Real Fire, House Linen. There is no gas to the property therefore wall storage heaters are installed in the living room and both bedrooms, there is also an additional electric fire in the dining room.

Terrestrial TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. There is an information folder in the property providing lots of information on places to visit and local activities. The nearest large supermarket and cinema are 4 miles away in Bridlington.

Local activities in and around Bridlington, Yorkshire
There are many lovely bays and beaches with chalk cliff scenery and caves within walking distance of the cottage. The nearby Flamborough Lighthouse is open to the public for guided tours during the holiday season.
The Victorian seaside resorts of Bridlington 4 miles away, Filey 8 miles away, and Scarborough 17miles away are full of interesting things to see and do. There is a regular bus service to these places from Flamborough if required.
The R.S.P.B bird sanctuary at Bempton is 2.5 miles from the cottage, where vast numbers of seabirds including puffins are to be observed living on the largest chalk sea cliffs in Britain.
There are a variety of boats which sail from Bridlington pier including the famous " Yorkshire Belle " which has been sailing these waters since 1938 she can take you on a relaxing cruise around Flamborough Head, Bempton and the lighthouse .A pirate ship and speed boat rides are also available during the holiday season.
The nearby Bridlington Links is a large 9 & 18 hole golf course approximately 2 miles away.
Sewerby Hall and gardens is a Grand Hall and park approximately 2 miles away, and from there runs a little land train that takes you into the centre of Bridlington and back.
Flamborough is situated on the B1255 approximately 4 miles out of Bridlington, directions will be made available by email or post upon booking. Nearest train station is Bridlington.

Rental Notes: Bed linen is provided. Please bring your own towels Coal is supplied free of charge.
Changeover day is Friday or Saturday however this could be flexible at quieter times of the year. Arrival 4pm (16.00hrs) Departure 11am. Weekend/ midweek breaks available minimum stay two nights from £45 per night (excepting school summer holidays)
Half of rental is required as a deposit with balance being due 6 weeks before the holiday. Payment is by cheque or bank transfer.
