In the heart of the Garfagnana, in the province of Lucca, can be found the newly built Gialla Casciana, a two bedroom property with garden, covered eating area and good sized private pool. The house is within walking distance of a small ancient village and only a couple of minutes in the car to a larger village with all facilities
This is a good opportunity to have a holiday with toal privacy, yet at a reasonable price.
The house is situated all on one level and has a well equipped open plan living /kitchen/diner, with all facilities. The kitchen boasts a washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. In the living area there is a CD player and DVD player. There are also two bedrooms - one double and one twin and a shower room.
Outside there is a good size garden and at the back of the house, a covered eating area, leading up to decked pool of 10M x 5M , with views of the mountains beyond.

This house is situated a 15 minute walk (less on the way back, since the area is hilly!) from an ancient village which has a bar and shop, and a 20 min walk (much more on way back!) or less than 5 minute drive from the larger village of Piazza al Serchio with all facilities.
Facilities include, traditional shops; supermarket; small Tuesday morning market when village really comes alive; river; station for easy exploring; bars and some restaurants.
In the depths of the countryside, high in the valley the house is a 1 hr 15 minute drive north of Lucca. The market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is a 20 minute or so drive; Barga is 40 minutes.....
The real beauty of this area is the dramatic mountain scenery, and the hundreds of hilltop villages to explore......
