The apartment is situated in the small Los Gavilanes complex that fronts onto the promenade and the beach. It is located on the 4th floor of the building and overlooks the pool.
The apartment has one master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a twin bedded room with its own toilet and shower. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob and microwave, fridge freezer and full range of utensils.
The lounge has a double sofa bed, 2 armchairs, a dining table and 6 chairs. There is a television set with satellite TV (English channels) and a DVD player with dvd's and cd's. The lounge has its own remote controlled air conditioning unit. From the lounge there are sliding doors leading to a large terrace with stunning views of the beach and Atlantic ocean.
On the terrace are a table , 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers. There is a griddle for your use if you want to cook on the terrace. There is a utility room off the terrace with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The pool is open from Easter to the end of October. Around the pool are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas for everyones use. The apartment has a basement storeroom with 2 bicycles, chairs for the beach and inflatables for the children to use.
There is an allocated parking space at the rear of the property, the complex is accessed through remotely controlled gates to the rear of the building. There is a secure gated exit through which you can access the promenade and beach.

Local activities in and around Ayamonte, Costa de La Luz - Huelva
Many people come to Isla Canela to get away from it all and just relax by the pool or on the beach. It is a typically Spanish holiday resort, most of the apartments are owned by families from Madrid and Seville who visit during July and August. Outside these months the resort is much quieter.
Across the road from the apartment are some excellent restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy a beer or enjoy the local days catch at very reasonable prices.For the more energetic a watersports club is located about 100mtrs further up the beach.
A 10 minute cycle ride or 40 minute walk down the beach will bring you to a marina with its international bars and restaurants. Here you can book river and sea trips and for those who do not want to drive there are organized trips to Seville.
About a mile inland from the apartment is an 18 hole golf course and within about 25 minutes drive there are plenty of other excellent courses to play.
Isla Canela is linked to the mainland by a bridge. Cross the bridge and you are in the charming town of Ayamonte. The town has a wonderful array of restaurants, shops and picturesque squares where you can while away your time sipping beer and sampling tapas. The town lies on the river Guadiana and for a couple of euros you can catch the ferry across the river to Portugal.
The beautiful city of Seville is about 75 minutes drive to the east. A day there is highly recommended. To the west lies wonderful Portuguese towns and villages such as Tavira (25 mins) and Alvor (60 mins), not forgetting Faro (40 mins) with its old town and modern shopping centre.
For the children we suggest you visit Islamagica in Seville, Zoomarine in Portugal or one of the waterparks. The area has something for everyone and we recommend that to get the most out of your holiday that you hire a car which tend not to be that expensive.
