A delightful recently converted compact barn with wonderful views over rolling countryside. The Tenterden steam train can be seen at times chugging along the valley, the local pub is within a few minutes walk, and cruises along the River Rother all provide a superb location for this lovely holiday accommodation.
There are many local vineyards, historic houses, beautiful gardens, as well as picturesque Tenterden, Cranbrook and Hawkhurst all within a short drive for shops, pubs and restaurants. Historic Rye is a comfortable 20 minutes away. Private parking with security lighting beside the Bothy which is in well tended grounds of a lovely 16th Century weatherboarded house.
Entrance is into the light, comfortable lounge which has a dining and kitchen area. The Bothy has tiled floors throughout with rugs, and attractive beamed ceilings. Heating is by electric wall heaters, with comfortable seating for 4, colour TV, and step down to patio door leading to the compact sun-trap terrace with garden furniture and lovely views.
On the left in the open plan room, is the well equipped kitchen area with full size calor-gas cooker, fridge, microwave, and automatic washing machine. A pine table with 4 chairs is at the far end. There is a double bedroom and twin bedroom, one with en-suite bathroom, one with en-suite shower room, both having pine furnishings, chest of drawers and large built-in wardrobes (one with immersion heater).
