The house has been refurbished using traditional flooring downstairs, wood flooring upstairs, chestnut beamed ceilings, chestnut windows, and is furnished with great care with traditional furniture – there is a romantic feel to the property.
There is a fireplace, and comfy seating in the living room along with internet access, CD player, DVD, SAT TV, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all that is required for meals at home. Kitchen diner on RHS of hallway with oven; hob;washing machine; dishwasher; fridge/freezer.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one double, one which can be either a twin or double and one single room. Each room has arch vaulted beamed ceilings and lovely views. There are also 2 shower rooms.
Outside there is a large patio area, complete with wood burning oven, and BBQ, for al fresco dining, and this area leads into main garden where there is a gated private pool which has a stepped ‘boxed’ area at one end, ideal for sitting and reading! This gated courtyard leads through to the garden where there is a private pool 10M x 5M plus a stepped area on the side for sitting and relaxing. Parking.

Nestled in a small hamlet called Pianacci, this property has full privacy, but does not feel isolated at all. Whilst there are no facilities in the hamlet, there is a good restaurant with outdoor dining facilities only a 15 minute walk away, and there are villages with facilities 3km in the car.
The hamlet is located a 15 minute drive north east of the market town of Castelnuovo, in the heart of the green and mountainous Garfagnana. Lucca is 1 hr 10 mins away, Pisa 90 mins, Florence 1 hr 45 mins, Barga less than half hour. The property is located in great walking country.
