This splendid, secluded country house, set in 15 acres of gardens, woods and orchards is ideally situated to give guests all they want from their holiday. A long flat lawn is ideal for a game of cricket, croquet or golf at the practice net. Guests can relax by the pool, enjoying the heady smell of lavender, walk in the woods, cycle or play tennis on the private full size court.

Attractive white Quercy stone buildings form a square around a courtyard with a central rosebed. Here, under a mature walnut tree is just one of the many outside eating areas that guests can choose for al fresco meals, which also includes a superb two-storey terrace with wonderful views across the valley below. On one side of the square is a covered terrace with a built-in BBQ that adjoins the self-contained annexe. A huge barn forms another part of the square, with the main house opposite and a lavender strewn pathway leads down to the pool.
Accommodation: Attractive lounge with stone fireplace and French doors. The master bedroom opens onto the upper level of the terrace and has an en-suite bathroom. Twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. The front covered terrace leads into the splendid kitchen and dining room, that is comprehensively equipped with a full range of appliances, including cooking range, gas and electric hob with double oven two dishwashers and two fridges. A majestic staircase leads to a large galleried landing and one double and one triple bedroom and a bathroom with wc.
From the kitchen the staircase leads down to the lower hall that has a separate entrance to the garden. There is an additional fridge/freezer on the lower floor. The twin bedroom and family room with double bed, small double bed and cot, both have access to lower terrace. Bathroom with wc and basin. Additional wc and basin. Laundry room with two washing machines and tumble dryer. The open plan studio apartment has triple beds and seating. A small step leads up to the kitchen area. Shower-room, with wc and basin. Doorway to covered BBQ terrace.
A spacious barn, close to the pool, includes table tennis, bikes, basketball and badminton. There is a shower-room with wc. and a utility room with additional washing machine and fridge/freezer. The full size tennis court is situated behind the secluded terraced pool that is bordered on all sides by tall hedges and stone walls.

Normally the area has a moderate climate with long Spring and Autumn seasons and Summers that can be very hot! Essentially it is the heart of farming land and you can expect to see lush landscapes with spectacular fields of sunflowers, maize and tobacco and all through the year a wonderful variety of changing colours and hues.

Walibi Aquitaine, located just a few kilometres away from Agen, Walibi Aquitaine nestles in over 30 hecatres of lush greenery, and is watched over by a genuine 18th Century castle. A world filled with pleasure, with its numerous rides, spectacular shows and special events that succeed each other at a relentless pace, where everyone will spend an unforgettable day out where strong emotions, thrills, laughter and enjoyment all intermingle! Situated northwest of Agen on the A62. Open 7 days a week from the middle of June through to the end of August, and at weekends outside this time. Children (3-11 yrs)
Five ropes courses in the trees, starting at the green and blue courses for small children, and progressing in difficulty through white, red and black courses. Harnesses and instruction are included. If you are not interested in climbing, there is also mini-golf to enjoy, a small farm and the snail museum. Take a picnic and make a day of it. Situated at Lacapelle-Biron on the D420, north-west of Fumel. Open every day 0900 to 2000 during July and August, and at weekends at other times.
Rental Notes: Only Saturday to Saturday bookings are accepted during peak and high seasons. Customers are asked that they ensure that they do not arrive at the property until after 4pm on the day of arrival and they must depart before 10am on the day of departure.
