Capestang is a lively and popular wine-producing village (population approx. 3500), with plenty of character and a friendly population. The village square at the foot of the impressive 13th century church has cafes and restaurants and is the setting for a twice-weekly market selling fresh local produce (olives, cheeses, wines and oysters to name but a few!). Capestang has all facilities (banks with ATMs, large supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, dentist, etc.). Easily accessible, with budget flights to Béziers airport half an hour away, Carcassonne, Montpellier and Perpignan airports about 1 hour's drive away, Toulouse and Girona 2 hours.
