Salou is located on the Costa Dorada or ‘the Gold Coast’ in the Catalonia region of Spain. It is the undisputed pinnacle of holiday resorts on the Costa Dorada, with a clean, sandy coastline which stretches far into the horizon.
Salou really is an international destination, and although you will not be inundated with traditional culture, there are some magnificent international restaurants and transport networks to Barcelona where museums, galleries and cultural performances can be found in good supply.
Salou is a haven for young families and youth holidays, as it really is the archetypal beach holiday destination.
