Gwelfor House sleeps six. A modern, spacious and tastefully appointed self-catering accommodation perfect for a family or friends. Gwelfor is situated in the North Wales historic spa town of Penmaenmawr just a short walk to the beach and just 10 minutes drive away from the historic World Heritage site - the walled town of Conwy. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. Sorry, no smokers.
Gwelfor provides 3 bedrooms, sleeping six comfortably. All 3 bedrooms enjoy sea views of Anglesey, Puffin Island, the Great Orme and the Menai Strait. (Double bed / Kingsize bed in galleried attic bedroom / and bunk beds with a 4'6''ft lower bunk and standard upper bunk intended for children's use).
The lounge room enjoys views of Anglesey, Puffin Island, The Great Orme and the Menai Strait, whilst the dining room and adjoining kitchen provide a generous living space for family or friends. A spacious bathroom comprises an electric shower over bath and basin. Separate wc.
Central heating, with living gas fire in the lounge room. Paved terrace area to the rear, perfect for barbeques. Parking available in front of the property.
Please note: A Landline telephone is not available.
What is provided? Duvet quilts and pillows. Bedlinen (1 set per bed per week). Bath towels (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per person per week). Fridge /Freezer, Iron and Ironing board. TV, DVD player. Crockery, cutlery, pans, kettle, toaster, microwave, glasses, cooking utensils.
Close to Anglesey's beaches and a superb base for exploring all that North Wales has to offer including spectacular walks in the Snowdonia National Park and Betws-y-Coed, or taking advantage of the many golf courses in North Wales. The North Wales Coast offers a wide range of places to explore. 15 minutes to Llandudno, 12 miles to Bangor and about 15 miles to Caernarvon, with Dublin and the Roman City of Chester also within easy reach.

Bird watching - Great walks over the hill behind the property.
Boating/sailing - Visit Pen's Sailing Club, just a few minutes walk. The Club has a full schedule listed on it's web page. See Gwelfor House website. Also visit Conwy's superb marina.
Golf - Visit Penmaenmawr's Golf Club (PenGolf - see Gwelfor House web site for details). Visitors are made very welcome.
Horse riding - Visit the Island of Angelsey and experience horse-riding on the beaches.
Picnics - Take a picnic to one of the great local beaches, or visit Betws y Coed.
Shopping - Llandudno and Bangor are well worth a visit as is the walled Roman city of Chester and Dublin is within easy reach.
Sightseeing - The magical Conwy Castle, Angelsey, Puffin Island boat trips to mention but a few places that are a must to see!
Swimming - The beach is approximately 10 minutes walk.
Tours/touring - Buses run down the Coast on a special tariff giving you the freedom to really relax and enjoy the scenery.
Walks - Snowdonia National Park is on Pen's doorstep and is a spectacular walking experience.
Approxiately 10 miles from Holyhead and Dublin can be reached by ferry on a day rtn.
