A fantastic place to unwind, this spacious detached fully equipped villa with air-conditioning in all rooms sleeps six people in 3 bedrooms. In a beautiful location on a coastal hillside, it has breathtaking panoramic views over the Aegean, coastal villages and Greek and Turkish islands. Relax by the pool or on one of our five patios, one of which has a built in barbeque - great for al-fresco evenings watching spectacular sunsets or just chilling out.
On an elevated site with uninterrupted views of the Greek and Turkish islands and the harbour town of Yalikavak, the villa benefits from cooling sea breezes and has five patios (one covered) all with magnificent views. There is a large shared pool with sunshades. Sleeping six in comfort, this spacious, well maintained holiday home makes an ideal base to explore the delights of the region.
The villa is just a few minutes drive outside Yalikavak, a traditional village set around a quaint waterfront with beaches, fishing harbour and nearby modern marina. The colourful, ethnic village centre has many bars and restaurants - a real taste of Turkey. You can visit local markets selling an amazing variety of produce or take the boat trips, tours, trips to Kos and Ephesus and many more.
Bodrum, with its castle and other ancient sites, international shopping and hectic nightlife is nearby. Sailing, diving and other water sports are readily available and there are many excellent beaches within a few minutes drive.
The light and airy house is situated in a corner garden with adjacent car parking. It is in a small complex within 60 metres of local transport and an ethnic Turkish restaurant The garden has palm, pine and olive trees as well as vibrant multi-coloured bougeainvilla. The villa is is managed by a British couple resident on the site who will be most pleased to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible. A starter pack and weekly change of linen and towels are included as standard. Car hire, (recommended but not necessary), may be arranged as can airport transfers.
Aircon in all bedrooms and lounge, double glazing, washing machine, dishwasher, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, Microwave, Forman Grill, , barbeque, Television and dvd player, music centre, patio table and 6 chairs, dining table for 6, sun loungers and enormous sun shade on the roof, all combine to make this a delightful base for your Turkish holiday.

Seating for 6. The open plan dining area is excellent for entertaining and family dining although many meals, especially breakfast, are taken on the covered patio which has a garden table and six chairs.
Entertainment:
Satellite TV, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games, Tennis Court. The swimming pool area, has sun beds and a snack bar. It is used for socialising and people gather there in the evenings to play cards, eat and listen to music.
Outside:
Communal Pool, Terrace, Garden, BBQ, Parking, Balcony, Garden Furniture. The villa has 5 terraces, including a covered patio with a built-in barbeque facing west over the sea. The pool is a centre of games and activity during summer months

Access to the villa from the main road is via a short incline and generally not an issue. The site is on a hillside. The path to the pool has a slope and some steps. Smokers - please not indoors.
Local activities in and around Bodrum, Aegean Coast
There are many archaelogical sites to be visited in the region with the Templars castle in Bodrum, the ancient site of Myndos at Gumusluk, The Mausoleum in Bodrum 1 of the seven wonders of the ancient world being the most famous local interest. A short trip away is the internationally acclaimed site of Ephesus with the volcanic "cotton mountain" - Pumukkale nearby. The Museums in Bodrum Castle are well worth visiting.
Major markets at Yalikavak (Thurs), Bodrum(Tues and Fri) and Milas are great for shopping trips including leather and cotton goods.
Diving is very popular in the crystal clear waters with a surprising range of sealife including many octopus, moray eels and barracuda. There are hundreds of local boats (called Gulets) which offer day trips or longer with sightseeing swimming, sunbathing, local food and drinks. There are watersports such as canoeing, windsurfing and sailing from excellent sandy local beaches. There are also several private beach clubs, where for a fee, you can sunbathe, swim, eat, drink and be pampered.
In the evenings the many bars in Yalikavak form the centre of village life and you may be invited to join in a variety of card games, backgammon or the local version of dominos. There are lots of bars and restaurants catering to all tastes including the televising of international football. Great for those UK/Turkey club matches.
For the night owls, nearby Bodrum and Gumbet never sleep, with the world famous Halikarnas night club leading the pack in the provision of clubland entertainment
