La Hubidiere is our little piece of French heaven, secluded and set in fields raised above a valley surrounded by distant trees and forests set way back off the D306 which runs between Le Lude and La Fleche.
Many wonderful towns and cities are a short drive away ( Angers, Tours, Samur, Le Mans, etc ) as are some of the best Chateaux in France.
As soon as we arrive and sit out on the terrace recliners overlooking the garden and countryside we feel instantly unwound, warm summer evenings looking at the stars ( without light pollution from towns ruining it !!) and listening to the sound of the crickets are stunning, so prepare to be relaxed at our beautiful house.
We have a french neibour Brigitte, she lives in a lovely log house a few fields away, her little dog Prune sometimes trots over to say Bonjour !!
Our caretakers, an english couple Pat and Debbie ( who also run a home delivery meal service) live nearby and are on hand if you have any problems.
Property comprises very large ( 50m2 ) lounge/dining area, bathroom and shower room ( each with wc ), large kitchen, two double bedrooms and upper lounge area.

Local activities in and around Le Lude, Loire/Centre
Le Lude is just 3 miles away with many bars/restaraunts, cafes and shops, additionally a large modern supermarket.
larger town of La Fleche ( approx 8 miles away ) is a very large town with a massive selection of great shops, bars, cafes and also a man made beach on a lake.
Zoo only 8 miles away just outside La Fleche ( said to be one of the finest in europe ).
Open air swimming pool just 3 miles away with nearby man made beach surrounded by parkland with Cafe facility.
Some of the regions best cities are in this area such as Tours, Angers and Samour all of which have fantastic atmospheres, with lively bars/restaraunts, many museums, parks and places of interest.
Numerous chateaux, museums, vineyards, towns within an hours drive ( some of France's best Chateaux ).
I can say with confidence that the french in this area welcome british visitors and have always made me feel at home, especially if you try some French when asking for things !! Usually if you struggle to get the message across they will help you with some English words or point to what you are trying to explain !!
Just 3 miles outside Le Lude travelling on D309 towards La Fleche set back off road on left hand side.
