At the foot of Mont Blanc you will find the wonderful “Chalet La Moraine”. This stunning & luxurious Chalet Sleeps up to ten guests in five twin/double bedrooms all with either ensuite or private bathroom. Following a complete renovation in 2006, the traditional exterior of the chalet has been maintained but hides a contemporary & chic interior.
The large glass fronted lounge of Chalet La Moraine offers spectacular views of the peaks and glaciers of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Massif. The Chalet has a magnificent outdoor jacuzzi with views to Mont Blanc, an indoor sauna with shower, wi fi and satellite TV in the living area & bedrooms aswell as DVD players.
The location of the chalet together with the unrivalled views of Mont Blanc give the Chalet a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Relaxation is easy, and the huge deck has a magnificent outdoor Jacuzzi to help you recover from a challenging day on the slopes, alternatively, you can head straight to the large Sauna.
You can relax & enjoy the large & stylish open plan living & dining area which includes sumptuous leather sofas (large enough to stretch out on), a stunning glass sided wood burning stove and giant Sony plasma TV with Sky digital satellite channels including movies. There is also an extensive DVD collection to chose from.
For dining you will find the specially commissioned oak dining table comfortably seats 10 guests. From here you can walk out through the large french doors onto the grand balcony that offers more of those stunning views, perfect for pre or post dinner drinks.
The impressive Italian kitchen is open plan with 2 hobs, 2 Ovens, Extractor, dishwasher supplied by Siemens and 2 Microwaves. There is also a large American Fridge freezer with ice maker.
The comfortable bedrooms all have wonderful views, built in wardrobes and their own TV/DVD/CD with individual TV channel selection. All mattresses are pocket sprung to help ensure an excellent nights sleep and the handmade beds can be made up as either superking doubles or singles as required prior to your arrival. The 3 ground floor bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms with baths & integrated showers, while the two quirkier triangular windowed loft bedrooms have private bathrooms opposite the bedrooms with baths & shower attachments.
There is a wireless broadband network for the chalet. There is a large private parking area below the chalet, and a Chamonix Ski Bus pick up point within 400 metres.

Local activities in and around Chamonix, Rhone Alps
The Chalet is situated in Taconnaz which is between Chamonix town centre and Les Houches, with amazing views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding massif. The Chamonix Valley is a mecca for winter and summer outdoor pursuits: mountaineering, hiking, climbing, biking, paragliding, plus fabulous skiing and all the winter activities! Chamonix is a beautiful and lively alpine town, it has something for everyone all year round.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Chamonix and Les Houches, perfect for apres ski or indeed any time of the day eating and drinking. There are a wide selection of shops in Chamonix to suit all tastes and budgets from Chanel to supermarkets and the weekly Saturday morning market is great for picking up local produce.
A sports centre, swimming pool, tennis courts, cinema screening English and French films and a golf course all complement the local amenities in the Chamonix Valley.
World Class Skiing
The Chamonix Valley has some of the best skiing in the world & hosts the famous Kandahar Mens's Alpine World Cup race. Chamonix's ski areas are open from December to May, subject to snow conditions.
Chamonix's skiing extends over 3 main areas : 1. Brévent/Flégère, with south-facing slopes and amazing views of the Mont-Blanc massif 2. Grands Montets, high altitude and offering on & off piste skiing 3. Balme area, accessed from Le Tour & Vallorcine
Les Houches is Chamonix's sister resort and is accessible with the Mont-Blanc Unlimited ski pass.
The nearest airport, Geneva is only an hours drive (approx 90km) from Chamonix by motorway. There are a range of car hire companies operating out of the Swiss & French side of Geneva airport.

Rental Notes: Meet & Greet: On arrival at Chalet La Moraine you will be met by our Local Representative who will explain how everything works and ensure you have everything you need for a memorable holiday.
The Chalet is Family Friendly and we have a couple of new travel cots and high chairs available for use as well as a baby bath.
Rental Details: Rates are charged in Euros.
A Booking form + 25% deposit is required in order to secure a booking. The remainder is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival or full payment if the booking is made within 10 weeks of the booking date.
What's included: Exclusive use of the chalet and all its facilities. All linen including towels, robes and slippers.
What's not included: Flights and travel to and from Chamonix.
House Rules No Single Sex groups allowed including hen & stag groups & sports teams No Smoking No Pets A Refundable Security Deposit required on arrival, to be refunded after departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
