Set in 16 acres of farmland down a quiet country lane, one of two stunning barn conversions has lovely views, access to footpaths and farmland beyond. Lamberhurst village - famous for its vineyard - is a 10 minute walk along the footpath. Golf, riding and fishing are all available nearby - Bewl Water for watersports, fishing and cycling. Bedgebury Pinetum and Scotney Castle within a short drive. Historic Tunbridge Wells with its excellent shopping facilities is 6 miles and beautiful Rye is 24 miles. Trains from Frant or Paddock Wood stations for London (journey time 50 minutes).
These beautifully and imaginatively converted cottages have been architecturally designed with flair and imagination. Both are very well equipped, decorated with natural materials, pine and lovely warm colours. Steps lead up to the front door of this slightly larger cottage. The lounge, furnished and decorated in similar style to Oast Cottage has a colour TV, video, double sofabed, pretty lounge seating, dining table for 7 with the well equipped kitchen area which has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and pretty matching china and kitchen utensils. The large downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC, washbasin, shaver point, airing cupboard, automatic washing machine and tumble drier. Spacious downstairs twin bedroom. The payphone is in the hall, with pine stairs to upper floor.
There is a double bedroom with sloping ceiling, en-suite shower room with shower in a cubicle, WC and washbasin, plus pretty twin bedroom with beams and Velux windows, spacious enough for an additional guest bed or cot. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and drawers. A hairdrier is provided.
