Situated in an elevated position above the small coastal resort of Sa Tuna. Panoramic sea views from the house and terraces. Large infinity pool. Just 10 mins drive to Begur, a charming medieval town with a wonderful choice of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.
A fabulous villa in a peaceful location, yet just 10 mins drive to Begur with many local amenities and 2 mins by car to the pretty coastal village of Sa Tuna with restaurants and a shop. There are also many other beach resorts to visit within 15 mins drive of the villa.
The villa is arranged over 3 floors and has the advantage of a lift in addition to the stairs which is a great when you arrive with luggage! This villa is very spacious with four living areas including two sitting rooms, dining room and a conservatory. The bedrooms are arranged over the lower ground, ground and first floor levels. Central heating for winter occupation. Satellite TV is Astra.
Very well equipped and offering superb space and quality, this villa makes an ideal holiday location for one or two families.
The villa has five bedrooms, there are three double rooms and two twin rooms. A cot is also included. There are three bathrooms, one of which is the ensuite to the master bedroom.
The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave. There are four living areas, the lounge has 2 large sofas and 3 easy chairs, a coffee table and fireplace. The dining room seats eight.
In the den you will find a TV, video, DVD/hi-fi, satellite (Astra), surround-sound, sofa, coffee table.
The conservatory has a table & chairs for 8. Glass folding doors completely open two sides to BBQ and pool terrace. Cleaning and linen hire are included.

There is a net fence which can be easily erected to keep very young children away from the pool. The house is on several levels with various steps and therefore not suited to wheelchair requirements.
Local activities in and around Begur, Costa Brava/Catalonia
Beach activities, snorkelling, diving- 10min drive. The beaches in this region are superb. All sandy with blue flags and mostly a shallow entrance making it safe for little ones. There is rarely overcrowding as there is such a choice of beaches and some are relatively unknown by tourists. This area attracts many spaniards from Barcelona and other parts of Spain, many of whom have holiday homes here.
Go-karting for kids and adults-10mins drive. Tennis and horseriding- 5mins drive. Water park- 20mins drive. Zoo- 10mins drive
Golf- many golf courses within 10-20 mins drive. The house manual gives details of all the courses in the local vicinity.
Sailing- 10mins drive. There is a sailing club at Sa Riera and kayaks and pedallos for hire. Kayaks also at Calella.
Cultural activities- all over the region: Figueres- Dalis museum- 40 mins drive, Medieval towns- 15-20 mins drive- Peratallada- a must to visit.
Restaurants- too numerous to mention. Begur has a very good choice as do the coastal villages. The house manual has previous guests comments on local restaurants.
Shops- an interesting selection of very good shops selling clothes, jewellery, etc.
Food- excellent speciality shops in Begur for fish and meat plus very good supermarkets.
Cycling- bykes can be hired in Palafrugell
Walking- this is wonderful walking country, especially out of season when it is not so hot. The tourist office has a map showing popular walks.
Skiing- within 3 hours you can be on the slopes in Andorra.
Night life- plenty if you want it but there is not a string of discos here. Mainly late night cellar bars with music, some with dancing. There is a club in Begur and one just outside, not far from the villa but well away from everything and everyone!
The main square has entertainment in the high season with a mixture of traditional and modern music and dancing. Wonderful to just sit and watch!
