This traditional cottage in a fantastic location has stunning views of the mountains of Kintail and is set on the shores of Loch long, a protected sea loch.
This wonderful place was also my home for 10 years. I first arrived in the area to work on Hamish Macbeth.
The property is situated at the end of a single track road with direct access onto a 100yd shore line,views up to Eilean Donan castle can be seen from the conservatory along with a great selection of wildlife including Herons Greylag geese Teal Ducks on the shore and sometimes a glimpse of the resident otter. Loch Long has avery high level of fresh water from The Kintail mountains.
No matter the weather the fantastic changing light during the course of a day is memorable.
Ground floor: The sunlounge/dinning room has lounge seating and table for fourall withe the most outstanding views across the loch this room connects to a contrasting cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and character stone walls, colour tv and a great selection of books. Simple kitchen with gas bottle and electric hob cooker large fridge freezer, Meile dishwasher and washing machine.
Single bedded room downstairs with wash basin.
Upstairs:There is double bedded room with wash basin and a single bedded room with wash basin, all cotton bed linen and views across the loch.
The cottage has oil fired central heating the energy costs are included in the rental.
