A beautifully furnished and fully centrally heated pine lodge with enclosed terrace overlooking the Beck. The lodge is situated on Limefitt Park, a 5 star Rose Award site nestled in the spectacular and peaceful valley between Wansfell and the Kentmere horseshoe.
This comfortable and cosy lodge has been equipped with everything you should need to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible (we hope!).
The Lodge is centrally heated throughout and the open plan living area also benefits from a gas fire. The living/dining area has patio doors onto the wooden terrace overlooking the Beck. This area is fully enclosed and equipped with patio furniture.
The living area has terrestrial TV with built in DVD player and a VCR There is a small selection of DVD's and for planning your walks there is a large selection of walking guide books and maps. Wireless internet capability is available in the cabin free of charge.
The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and cooker, microwave and fridge. The spacious bathroom has a full length bath and a powerful overhead shower, supplying hot water on demand.
You will find both bedrooms, one twin and one double, ready for your arrival (all bedding, duvets, pillows and towels are provided at no extra cost). A travel cot and a childs booster seat are provided. All electric and gas is also included in the price.
The park is conveniently situated, allowing both easy access to the fells on foot as well as only a 10 min drive to both the towns of Windermere and Ambleside. On site facilities include an adventure playground, lakeland pub with beer garden, park grocery shop, laundrette and internet access.
Nearby places to eat include the renowned Queens Head, a 17th century coaching inn which is only a short walk away from the park and there is also a take away on site.

Please do not smoke inside the cabin, smoking is strictly limited to the terrace area. Please do extinguish your cigarettes carefully as the decking is flammable.
Local activities in and around Windermere, North
Limefitt park is located in an ideal situation or exploring the lakes both by car and on foot. The nearby fells provide all levels of walking as well as sites for climbing and more adventurous outdoor activities!
Troutbeck is only 3 miles from Windermere and 6 miles from Ambleside. Both these towns have many good restaurants, pubs and shops. There is also a cinema in each town and Zeffirellis in Ambleside offers a meal deal of a two course meal and cinema ticket at reasonable prices.
Local boat clubs on Windermere offer watersports such as canoeing and row boats. There is cycle hire and a golf club in Windermere town.
M6 junction 36. Take A591 to Windermere through the town and for another 0.5 miles. At the mini roundabout turn right onto A592 to Ullswater. Limefitt is 2.5 miles on the right.
