For non-golfers, you are located in picturesque country surroundings and only a 5 minute drive from the harbour town of Garrucha, offering miles of beautiful beaches and a fantastic array of seafood restaurants.
Completed in 2007, the apartment is finished and furnished to a high standard and is fully air-conditioned. Located on the second (and top) floor of a modern apartment complex on the Valle Del Este Golf Resort, the apartment overlooks the fourth hole and fifth tee on a corner of the course. Local activities in and around Vera, Almeria
The Golf Course: The apartment is situated on the Valle Del Este Golf Resort at Vera. This magnificent course is as good as any in Spain and offers La Manga style golf at a much lower cost. Guests receive a discount on green fees. There is a daily ‘Hole in One’ competition (€8 on first entry then €5) on the 12th hole that provides good prizes for just hitting the green and a trip to Las Vegas for a hole in one.
The course has an excellent Pro-shop and practice area. Club and golf cart hire are both reasonably priced (two sets of clubs are available in the flat for the use of guests who do not wish to take their own clubs or who are occasional golfers).
The Clubhouse is incorporated into the hotel and provides excellent bar and catering facilities and a magnificent pool that is available for use by all guests. Within 15 minutes drive there are three other golf courses: Desert Springs, El Cortijo Grande & Marina Golf Club.
The La Manga golf complex is only an hour away as are the many courses of the Murcia/Cartagena area. There are a further four courses at Almeria. The area has many activities including a water park, bullring, horse riding, scuba diving, quad biking, go-karting etc.
The beach resort of Mojacar Playa is a 15 minute drive from the apartment with the nearer beaches of Vera Playa and Garrucha being only 5 minutes. The town of Vera is less than 5 minutes drive away and has all the necessary amenities – supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops, banks, chemists and a busy market every Saturday.
