This brand new apartment sleeps up to 6 people comfortably and has wooden floors throughout. It has a single toilet plus a main bathroom with shower. There are 2 bedrooms plus a lounge kitchen area all luxuriously fitted and fully equipped. There is an underground car park and large walk-in ski/bike storage room, which will store easily up to 6 bikes etc. We can also arrange rental of the adjacent apartment, equally equipped, ideal for two families holidaying together or if your group is more than 6.The apartment is situated in the Edelweiss Park Hotel complex, in a residential area of the town, so allows some tranquility and is therefore ideal for family’s or groups of friends, but is still only 5 minutes walk away from the town centre, where you can enjoy the excellent traditional restaurants and bars.
On site facilities at the Edelweiss Park include the use of the restaurant and bar, gym, sauna, landscaped garden, barbeque area and children’s playground. The hotel also provides a child care service. A regular shuttle service is available from the hotel to the Gondola station approx 900m away. Transfers from the airport, ski rentals etc can be organised though our friendly English-speaking representative.

Local activities in and around Bansko, West and Mountains
Bansko is the most popular ski resort in Bulgaria. Millions have been invested, creating a top rate facility including a new gondola, snow guns and electronic ski pass system There are 14 pistes extending 65km, including a 16 km run plus cross country and excellent off piste skiing. The skiing conditions are excellent and the ski season is long (mid December to mid April). The slopes offer runs and tracks for all types of skiers, from starters to experts, and are superbly maintained. There is an excellent ski school for all levels of skiing ability. Snowboarders are provided with a half pipe facility. Bansko town has an ice rink, shooting range and winter sports stadium.
Bansko is also popular as a summer resort. The Pirin National Park provides superb hiking, mountain biking, horse riding through mountains, past lakes and waterfalls. Fishing and horse riding are also provided as summer activities. There is a brand new Ian Woosnam designed golf course just outside the town. Bansko and the nearby villages are known for their healing mineral springs and spas, providing rest and relaxation. The famous Rila monastery is also nearby and well worth a visit.
Spring brings a multitude of wild flowers. The summers are short and fairly hot providing a wonderful climate for the summer activities.
Easy Jet - Gatwick to Sofia. WizzAir - Luton to Sophia. Direct flights from all over UK to Sofia/Plovdiv by Bulgaria Air & BA. Transfers from Sofia to Bansko approx 2.5 hrs. Ask for details.

The transfer was very well organised & prompt
The gondola shuttle bus was easy to arrange and use, costing approx 1 euro each per trip
The welcome pack was very welcome, not to have to find a shop 1st thing and be able to sit down to breakfast as soon as we arrived
The choice to stay in the town worked out very well, as after the days skiing we could quickly walk to a restaurant without a long trek
