Lovely Art Deco villa in Central Nice suitable for large parties for self-catering rental. Quiet residential location with easy access to Nice Town centre and transport options. 1 km from the sea and the Promenade des Anglais (seafront). Perfect for a self-catering family holiday. The villa is in Avenue Buenos Ayres, just off Bvd Gambetta. It has been fully modernised and restored and offers easy living for a large party wishing to enjoy a self-catering rental in a central location in Nice. The rental occupies the 3 upper floors of this villa.
I have everything needed for babies and small children as I have two of my own. I can also arrange babysitters (English) and cleaner for you. There is the possibility of enrolling your child in a bi-lingual holiday club a short way from the house as well. I will be living in the garden apartment under the villa during your stay, so am available for information, problems, etc.
The house is near a main street (Bvd Gambetta) where you can find all the shops you need and bus lines into town. If you walk to the end of Rue Vernier, which is across Bvd Gambetta, you can catch the new tram system direct into the Old Town and the Port, and to the main Nice Bus station. The tram runs from 4.25am until 1.15am so is great for late night outings. The main Nice train station is a 10 minute walk from the house, with connections all along the Coast and into Italy.
Car hire available either from the airport, the train station or there is a local hire shop v close to the house for occasional hire. Motorway is approximately 10 minutes in either direction. Nearest ski/mountain station is Valberg at 1 hour from Nice.. I am currently buying a flat there and this could be included in a rental for a day or two in the mountains. There is a golf course in Valberg, many lovely walks nearby, and skiing in the winter season.

Central Heating, Telephone, House Linen, Towels Provided, Internet Access. Wifi works throughout the villa except in the bedroom on the roof level (walls too thick for signal).
Dining:
Seating for 10. Large table with 10 chairs, and an additional 4 chairs for guests as well can be squeezed in at the corners.
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System. Sky TV including sports, living and children's channels. Dvd and Video players with a selection of films as well. iPod speakers and radios around the house.
Outside:
Terrace, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. Very large roof terrace with views to sea and town of Nice, with a barbecue and loungers for relaxing on. Access to garden can be arranged, and parking as well.

Children Welcome, Not Suitable For Wheelchairs, Not Suitable For Elderly, Pets Allowed, Smoking Allowed.
No wheelchairs or elderly if steps are a problem as there are steps between floors. Small dogs welcome. Smoking allowed but outside only.

Rental Notes: Book in is after 12 o'clock, and check out is at 10am. No specific changeover days but a minimum rental payment of 1 week is required. It is possible to have a cleaner during your stay. Final cleaning of 150 Euros payable locally, and a key deposit of 100 Euros refundable on departure. Any breakages must be paid for. 50% deposit to reserve the booking for rentals of 1 week, and remainder due 6 weeks before arrival. For longer bookings a smaller % deposit is required. Deposit monies refunded on sliding scale if booking cancelled. Long term rental possible from September 2008 for a minimum of 9 months. Please ask for details and rates.
