This unique apartment is on the roof of a two storey building, directly overlooking the beach with fantastic views along the coast and out to sea. Surrounded by its own private terrace it is perfect for relaxing at one with the sun and the sea. A pergola runs along the front of the apartment, affording welcome shade from the midday sun. Dining out on the terrace in the evening in the company of spectacular sunsets is the cherry on the cake after a day on the beach or sightseeing.
With its little fishing harbour at the mouth of the river Fiora, Montalto Marina is a small mediterranean holiday resort in northern Lazio, 15 mins from the Tuscany border and approx. 1 hour from Rome. The main town of Montalto di Castro is 3km inland. Situated in the heart of Etruscan territory, historical sites and places of interest abound in the area.
In a privileged position directly overlooking the beach. with views out to sea from all the rooms, the main apartment is for four people and made up of one double bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds, living room/kitchen and bathroom with shower. A further double bedroom with en suite bathroom is accessed independently and can be rented at an extra charge bringing the total accommodation up to 6 beds. An external staircase leads up to the apartment. An extensive pinewood for a leisurely walk is just across the road.
Although only a small resort, there is an assortment of shops, pizzerias, restaurants, cafès and ice-cream parlours. A colourful market for both fresh and general goods, open also through the evening, is within walking distance.

This apartment is on the sea. Nearby various activities are available: windsurf, canoeing, etc. Tennis courts are close by and riding is also in the vicinity. Trekking and walks are also available in the nearby Vulci park. Beautiful Lake Bolsena is 30mins inland for boating, fishing and also trips out to the lovely little islands. 20 mins down the coast is Tarquinia with its extraordinary Etruscan tombs while a short drive northward is Monte Argentario - spectacular in itself and from where one can take day trips to the islands of Giglio and Elba. The main line railway station with car park is 2km from the apartment - Rome centre is just over 1hr.
