Set in 250 acres of meadow and woodland, this beautiful holiday home is in a unique position for walking and exploring the rich countryside, many meadows with sheep, and nearby coastal areas. During the lambing season, guests are able to watch and enjoy the lambs.
Brightling is a fascinating nearby village. It is only a short distance by car to shops and pubs in picturesque Burwash. Nearby places of interest include Batemans and Battle Abbey, Herstmonceaux and Bodiam Castles, and Etchingham station is 10 minutes away.
Much of the interior is predominantly natural with oak, flagstone floors and plastered walls. This gracious house feels very spacious, warm and welcoming and with many interesting features. At the end of the building is a small patio. Ample parking.
Entrance into hall leading to the elegant kitchen/dining room with pine table seating 8, electric cooker, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher, utilities room with automatic washing machine, downstairs WC. The large beautiful lounge comfortably seating 8, has glorious views, colour TV, radio and occasional tables.
An oak staircase leads to the 1st floor. Large master bedroom with canopied double bed,fitterd wardrobes, bedside tables and has lovely views. Bathroom with basin and WC. A pretty twin bedroom, and a 2nd large double bedroom with cot, has an en-suite bathroom with hand shower over bath, bidet, WC and basin. A folding Z bed will fit very comfortably in any of the large bedrooms, which are all furnished in heavy pine.
