Self contained first floor 3 bedroomed apartment in Central Portugal. In the quietude of the village of Lameirinha - 15 kms from both Tomar and Ourem - the heart of Portugal there stands your holiday retreat.
The apartment sleeps six accross two double bedrooms (one ensuite) and a twin bedroom. The family bathroom has a jacuzzi bath.
The living area is spacious and emcompasses the lounge, kitchen and dining area. Naturally there are full cooking facilities, traditional oven, microwave, toaster etc. and washing machine. English channels are available on the satellite TV and a DVD and CD player provide back up entertainment.
The new swimming pool, installed in September 2007, is in a sunken patio area which gives privacy and creates a perfect place for sunbathing on those lazy, hot summer days and evenings. Or you can take in the beauty of the sunset with a glass of wine on the roof terrace, with views over the vineyards and forests.

Local activities in and around Tomar, Costa de Prata
Locally there is a mini market and café restaurant within walking distance - personally much approved by the owners! Further afield there is the pilgrimage town of Fatima just 30 kms away and then 75 kms away there is the atlantic coast with the pristine beaches around Sao Pedro do Moel and the seaside town of Nazare.
For golfers the new course at Bom Successo, the Praia d'El Rei and Obidos courses are all within 100km drive. Lisbon airport is 140 kms away and Porto 200.
The house is easily accessible by car from either Lisbon (about 90 minutes) or Porto (about 2 hours) airport. Driving directions will be provided on booking.
