This fantastic three year old apartment has been exquisitely furnished and is located in the very popular and beautiful part of the region. The apartment is large and spacious, light and airey and very well designed. The apartment has a lovely outdoor swimming pool and yet is only 15metres walk from the Mar Menor Sea.
The marina, Puerto Tomas Maestre is an ideal location for a family holiday, there is plenty to do, lots of restauarants to try, shops and supermarkets if you want to cater for yourselves. The daily boat will take you to the other side of the Mar Menor or just a trip to one of the islands of the Mar Menor for a fun day out.
Whatever you are looking for in a holiday, whether it is quiet and peaceful relaxing on the beach, or scuba diving in the Mediterranean all of this in on hand. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could want to enjoy and wonderful relaxing holiday.

The apartment has a lovely community pool set in a garden area. The pool is enclosed and there is also a fountain. A few meters in the other direction is the Mar Menor. There are steps down into the water so that you can enjoy a swim in these warm and shallow waters. The mineral and salt content of the Mar Menor is so high that you should be able to float unaided whilst you relax and unwind into your holiday.
Walk 300m one way to the fantastic restaurant with tapas bar, Pacque Bote. Walk 350m to the Marina with over 100 berths of beautiful expensive yachts, more than 12 restaurants and bars. Everything you could want in one place, dine out in the Pizzaria, enjoy tapas with a beer, the Mexican for some margaritas and fajitas. There is no need to travel, no need to worry about driving or taxis it is all here right on your doorstep.

The apartment is on the second floor but safe for children. There is lift access and we have in past rented to disabled guests, however there are no specific modifications.
Local activities in and around La Manga Del Mar Menor, Costa Calida - Murcia
The Puerto Tomas Maestre, or the marina is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing family holiday or alternatively you can enjoy the deep sea diving, waterskiing, jet skis or sailing which the local beach clubs and watersport schools offer.
There are beaches a plenty to choose from. Many of our clients prefer the white sandy beaches of the Mediterranean which stretch on for miles. These beaches have regular cafes and bars and the waters are a little cooler with just a few more waves. The waters on the Mar Menor are warm, safe and shallow and great fun for kids to play in.
Visit the nearby town of Cartagena for historic Spain. Cartagena is one of Europe´s deepest natural harbour and has a history which pre dates the Romans. Visit the Roman wall, take the Tour bus and find out more, or the Tourist boat will show you around the harbour. Cartagena is an excellent place to shop, there is a new shopping centre which has recently opened just outside the town. Large chain shops such as Zara nestle side by side with smaller boutiques.
There are plenty of things to do and markets to visit. Cabo de Palos has one of the largest markets every Sunday morning. As with all the local markets you can pick up a great bargain or two. Leather goods, handbags, sandles and belts are especially good for the quality and price. Cheap T shirts and copy designer wares, plus the freshest vegetables and fruits the region has to offer. Take the ferry across in the morning on a Wednesday to San Javier and enjoy the busy bustling market in this little town.
We can arrange trips to the local theme parks of Terra Natura, Terra Mitica and Aqualandia upon request for parties of up to 8 people.

This fabulous theme park is a really fun day out for all the family. The park is divided into four very different sections. Rides range from Rollercoasters which turn 360 degrees to calm and tranquil boat rides. Get wet in Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece on the boat ride. Smaller kids will have a fantastic day too as there are plenty of rides for the little ones that bigger people cant do.

Directions will be given at the time of booking. We meet all clients at our office and take them to the apartment so that you dont get lost. Mini bus airport transfers available.

Rental Notes: Change over days are entirely flexible. Take advantage of the cheaper mid week flights into Murica. We try wherever we can to allow you to stay in the villa until you need to leave for the airport. However if this is not possible due to another arrival we respectfully request that you vacate before 11am. Taxi transfers can be arranged from the airport and a lower than local taxi rate.
Towels and linen are provided for the house but you do need to bring your own beach and pool towel. Change of linen and mid stay clean for bookings of over 10 days. Welcome pack provided, included in the price. This can be upgraded to a full breakfast pack including sausage bacon and eggs. Travel cot and high chair are available upon request.
