Mullach Dubh (pronounced Doo!) is a superb modern, spacious cottage, completely redecorated and refurnished to high sophisticated modern standards. It is spacious, clean, warm and bright throughout. It has an open plan living area with a real log fire, fully equipped kitchen and has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6. The garden is south facing. The marina, harbour, village shop, art gallery/gift shop and excellent food-serving pub are 1 minute's walk.

Mullach Dubh is our new family home and we have lovingly and proudly refurbished it to meet the highest expectations. Our large open plan living area is bright and clean with sun pouring in from large windows to the front and back and views to our namesake, Mullach Dubh, the "tweed tapestry" hillside behind.
The living room furniture, including sofa-bed, is exceptionally comfortable. There is an open log fire with full log and coal baskets, CD/DVD and Freeview, and telephone. We have used stunning examples of local artists' and craftsmen's work as finishing touches. The kitchen is fully equipped to our own keen cooks' levels and has brand new white goods, china and quality cutlery and glasses.
Upstairs we have a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double or twin bedded room and family bathroom. Both bedrooms have copious wardrobe and storage space with plenty of hangers. All rooms are heated. The south facing garden has garden furniture, sun loungers, bbq and lighting. All bed linen is provided and electricity is included. WiFi is available in the local pub.

1 Bathroom, 1 Shower. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room with large walk in shower. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower attachment. There is also a double sofa-bed in the living room.
Kitchen:
Cooker, Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Iron. We are keen cooks so have kitted the kitchen to our own discerning standards! Our store cupboards are well stocked and all our cooking implements, china, glassware and cutlery are good quality.
General:
Real Fire, Telephone, House Linen, Towels Provided. Internet Access is available in the village pub, one minute's walk away or via the Marina. The house is fully heated.
Dining:
Seating for 6. The brand new solid wood dining table opens out at both ends to allow for 6 spacious places and the chairs are well padded cushions for maximum comfort
Entertainment:
Terrestrial TV, Satellite TV, Video, DVD, Radio, CD System, Board Games. We have a good supply of DVDs, CDs, books and games but please bring your own too. We have plenty of local information literature and maps. There is also a telephone.
Outside:
Garden, BBQ, Parking, Garden Furniture. The south facing garden is a real sun trap. The views to Mullach Dubh, the "tweed tapestry" of the hill range behind, are spectacular in the ever changing light.

Craobh Haven (pronounced Croov!) is a purpose built marina some 25 years old, created by ingeniously joining together a few small islands with a causeway; creating a stunning walk with sightings of seals, sea birds, otters and eagles.
It has views to the Inner Hebridean Islands and the infamous Corryvreckan Whirlpool.
The Lord of the Isles pub has been newly taken over and refurbished in December 2007 and serves excellent food. The village shop is well stocked and The Giving Tree is an excellent giftshop/art gallery. There is a local riding stables offering natural horsemanship with beautiful spotted Appaloosa hoses, daily wild life boat trips,and copious walks.
The area is arguably the most stunningly beautiful part of the Argyll coastline stretching from the Mull of Kintyre to Oban and on to Glencoe with a wealth of local history, spectacular scenery, wild and sea life, walks, gardens, shops, cafes and excellent restaurants.
Craobh Haven is 1 mile off the A816, situated 20 miles south of Oban and 17 miles north of Lochgilphead.
