It is a light and airy, well furnished apartment sleeping five people, or cosy enough for a couple. Access from the rear garden in to the kitchen: as well as entry from the picturesque front to the lounge-dining room. The twin-room has a french-door leading to the front terrace/garden with river views.

The lounge-dining room has original stone fireplace and floor tiles. Antique dining-table. Comfy sofa and chairs. TV, DVD and VHS with a selection of videos. Books and games provided. The garden gives panoramic river views. Pine cupboard with crockery.
There is a triple-bedded room with wardrobe, dressing table, and large window to front garden. There is aslo a twin bedded room with wardrobe, chest-of-drawers and french door to garden. All bedding and towels provided.

Local activities in and around Pessac-sur-Dordogne, Aquitaine/Dordogne
We are right on the River Dordogne (canoe and boat hire) perfect for cycling. About 20km south of a large leisure lake with activities.
Approx two-hours drive to the Cote-Emerald for surfing.
The renowned golf course at Chateaux des Vigiers is approximately 15 km drive and has an 18 and nine hole golf-course plus two restaurants. There is also a "pitch and putt" course a few km away.
Close to Bergerac there is karting and water park.
There are many activities in the summer - markets and fayres, concerts, firework displays and the annual summer re-enactment of the last battle of the Hundred Years War.
The closest basic amenities are butcher/food store, general store with petrol pumps and fishing equipment, post office, hair salon and garage.
Nearest large Supermarket is approx 12 km at Port-St-Foy or Castillon la Bataille. Both of these towns have excellent and reasonably priced restaurants and very good weekly markets.
Bergerac to Bordeaux - D936 to Les Reaux then D11 on left for 3 km to the bridge at Pessac.
