At the most Northern part of Argyll, within easy reach of Glencoe and the island of Lismore, our newest large property is well placed for a touring holiday.
Set high above Loch Linnhe, overlooking Shuna Island, the sunny patio, however, enables visitors purely to relax and unwind while enjoying the sound of birdsong, rustling leaves and the trickle of water tumbling over the rock wall beside the house.
The house itself has 3 large bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor with en-suite'wet room', making it suitable for wheelchair users. The bed here is set as a large double, but this may be 'unziooed' into 2 singles. The whole ground floor has underfloor heating, with the large open plan sitting/dining area being paved in pale Travertine stone. There is, in addition, a multifuel stove in the lounge. Because it is so warm and cosy it is ideal for short breaks at cooler times of year.
Upstairs the master bedroom(with large double bed) has it's own shower room, while the second bedroom upstairs (having twin beds which can be ziplinkeded to form a large double if desired) is en-suite to a 2 door family bathroom.
Within the large open plan area upstairs there are twin beds stacked as seating, which may be curtained off to accommodate a further 2 people. Up here there is also a small cosy corner with couch and TV for alternative viewing. There is a whole house fresh air/ventilation system which recirculates wasted heat from bathrooms, kitchen and utility room.
Because Tigh an Lios can easily sleep up to 8 people (plus up to 2 further babies of under 2 years) it is well suited for family groups. Children can enjoy exploring our large garden or play on our short tennis court, while gardehers can admire all the scented and colourful plantings. Well bahaved dogs are welcome, though never permitted to be left alone in the house.
