A spacious, comfortable, well equipped 2 bed apartment located in the peaceful Las Piscinas development in Playa Flamenca. The urbanisation is made up entirely of semi-detached apartments and detached villas. It has a large terrace that benefits from the sun from early morning to late evening - ideal for al fresco dining or just relaxing on the sun loungers all day.
It is perfectly situated close to many fine restaurants, bars and shops in the popular resort of Playa Flamenca and is in easy walking distance of the beautiful beaches in the area.
The apartment sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Both bedrooms are complete with spacious wardrobes, dressing table & mirror and bedside tables with lamps. The well appointed bathroom has a powerful shower and plenty of shelf space.
The apartment itself is very light and airy which shows itself particularly in the large lounge and dining area. This area is comfortably and tastefully furnished and decorated and facilities include Stellite TV, DVD player and Hi-Fi. The dining table is adjacent to a breakfast bar which leads into the kitchen, fitted with modern white units, oven, hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and washer.
Outside, the large terrace is furnished with padded sunloungers, chairs, table and umbrella. The terrace is south facing and therefore gets the sun for most of the day. The apartment units are in small blocks, so that the terrace and apartment are not overtly overlooked by neighbours.
The surrounding area of Orihuela has some of the most superb beaches along the coastline, all of which are blue flag. The coastline is 16km long and alternates between rocky parts with clear water and beaches renowned for their fine sand: Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Playa Flamenca, Mil Parmeras.
There are well established residential areas from Los Altos to Playa Flamenca through to Campoamor offering an abundance of restaurants, bars and many other facilities within the many commercial centres. Orihuela has a number of places of interest to tourists including two sports marinas, three golf courses and a number of natural beauty spots.
The climate is mild with an average temperature of twenty degrees centigrade and a low rainfall level which allows for more than 300 days of sun a year.
