The two-bedroom apartment has been recently renovated to an exceptionally high standard with a modern, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
The area offers a wide range of activities, from skiing in the Massive Central, Fishing and beach at the Lake of Sèchemailles to sightseeing the beautiful Chateau de Val and Chateau Sedieres.

On entering the apartment you will find a light and airy open-plan living area with a log burning stove and comfortable seating for 4 persons plus Sky TV and DVD player. French doors lead onto a private, south facing, terrace with BBQ and patio furniture, sun loungers and picturesque views over the surrounding countryside.
The modern kitchen/diner is fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer plus all utensils, cutlery and crockery. The dining area has a table and 4 chairs.
Leading off the lounge area is a study area with Internet (dial-up) connection and a modern bathroom with bath/shower, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail plus washing machine. Also leading off lounge are a twin bedroom and a double bedroom. Both have fitted wardrobes.
All bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are included in the rental price. Property includes a children’s high chair, cot and travel pushchair.

Local activities in and around Meymac, Limousin/Auvergne
The picturesque village of Meymac is situated within a National Park in central France. Every Sunday and every other Friday is market day and you can wander through the cobbled streets and get the feel of ‘real France’ savouring the local produce and merchandise on the market stalls. The town boasts many interesting stone and granite buildings, shops, supermarkets bars and restaurants where you can try the local Limousin beef.
Ussel, which is the nearest large town, is situated at the South of the Plateau de Millevaches and is also only a 10 minute drive away. Being an old medieval city, it offers you a rich heritage as well as many outdoor activities such as go-karting, paint-balling, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, angling and miles of scenic walks and places to cycle in the immediate neighbourhood.
The area has medieval towns, churches and chateaux to visit and is renowned for it's beautiful scenery, hills, woods and lakes.
Skiing Information: Only 40 minutes away you have the Massif de Sancy with Le Mont-Dore, Super Besse, Chastreix/Sancy : 3 very different resorts, with a certain character and offering a common characteristic : their slopes are spread on the highest volcano of metropolitan France. Le Mont-Dore and Super Besse are linked and benefit from a common ski pass and both offer 85 km of runs of all levels of difficulty. Chastreix/Sancy is a small resort, at a human scale, which offers 16km of runs. All 3 resorts open as soon as snow cover permits. Official season from December to April.

Rental Notes: Change over days in high season are Saturday - Saturday, more flexible rental times are available on request in low season.
A heating suppliment of 40 euro's p/week is charged from the beginning of Oct - end of April.
We would ask guests to vacate the property by 10 am on departure days, and arrival time is after 4pm.
We would ask that guests leave the accomodation in a clean and tidy state.
A non refundable deposit of 20% wll secure the booking, the balance will be required 6 weeks prior to arrival.
A key security deposit of £150 (cheques acceptable with bank details) is required to cover accidental damage and breakages. The security deposit will be refunded 14 days after your departure subject to no damage.
Special rates are available for long term lets and off peak lets.
