Just a few metres away is the popular Mijas Golf Complex. Hacienda is in the heart of Golf Valley - with 10 courses within a 15 minute drive.
The apartment consists of - entrance hall, with a bright open lounge/dining room which leads onto the terrace, well equipped airy kitchen, master bedroom with 2 single beds and master bathroom, 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and access to guest toilet and shower.
The location of La Hacienda is a dream for any golfer or holiday maker - 20 minutes from Malaga airport, 10 minutes from Mijas Pueblo, and a similar distance to the beautiful beaches & tremendous facilities of both Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas. La Hacienda is perfectly situated to enjoy the variety and quality of life which the Costa del Sol has to offer for both golfers and beach lovers alike. La Hacienda is set in extensive communal gardens, with 2 large and 2 smaller swimming pools, 2 paddle tennis courts and 2 childrens play areas.
Around the complex of La Hacienda are a park area with bar, a restaurant - Venta la Torre - serving excellent value quality food. Recently opened at the complex is a mini supermarket and internet cafe, hairdresser, gift shop and launderette. A mere 5 minutes drive away are the very popular resorts of Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas - both with a myriad of bars, shops, restaurants, facilities and of course fabulous beaches.
Marbella, Puerto Banus and Benalmadena with their fabulous marinas, excellent restaurants, trendy boutiques and exciting nightlife are all within easy reach. It is recommended - but not essential - to hire a car for maximum enjoyment of your stay in La Hacienda de Mijas Golf.

Local activities in and around Mijas, Costa del Sol - Malaga
Anyone familiar with this area of the Costa del Sol, will no doubt be aware of the myriad of activities available for perfect holiday enjoyment. Aside from the obvious large choice of golf courses, the area is blessed with some excellent beaches and marinas. Here you can waterski, fish, scuba dive or merely take a cooling dip in the sea.
Many places of cultural interest are within easy reach due to the excellent infrastructure of the Costa del Sol. Some commercial units opening at La Hacienda will provide guests with welcome onsite facilities, restaurants, hairdresser, newsagent etc. Adjacent to the complex is an excellent Spanish 'venta' - where you can have a fantastic 3 course 'menu del dia' for a mere 8 Euros. Also next to the complex is an attractive picnic area, with bar favoured by locals and tourists alike.
Close to La Hacienda de Mijas Golf is the picturesque white village of Mijas. Fuengirola is a bustling town , which has retained much of it's family values. Malaga is an amazing city, with broad promenades, a fascinating 'old town' and of course houses the magnificent Picasso museum.
Benalmadena, Cabopino, Marbella and Puerto Banus are all famous for their attractive marinas, and prove to be perfect settings for an evening stroll - maybe with some tapas and a glass of Rioja? Seville, Cordoba and Granada are stunningly beautiful cities to visit, steeped in history and beautiful architecture. Close to Granada of course is the Sierra Nevada, reachable from La Hacienda de Mijas Golf in 2 hours, by an excellent road. It is possible to be on the slopes in the morning and return to the Coast to enjoy the afternoon sunshine on the beach!
There are ample attractions to keep the younger members of your group happy. Fuengirola Zoo, Selwo Marina in Benalmadena, Selwo Wildlife Park in Estepona, Tivoli World in Benalmadena, Crocodile Park in Torremolinos - to name but a few.

The Mijas Aqua Park is a great day out for the whole family. Plenty of exciting rides to choose from including the Kamikaze, Body Ski, Big Donuts, wave pool, Labyrinth Slides, or even just relax and watch the day go by! Open may through October – the Aqua Park also offers a number of places to eat and drink while there, however you are more than welcome to take a picnic with you!

Tivoli world is the Costa del Sol’s own theme park, and provides plenty of attractions for a great day out. You'll enjoy the exciting new rides and plethora of shows at the different squares, taste all the gastronomic options in the themed bars and restaurants, and leave with a big smile on your face.
Da Bruno is widely regarded as one of the best Italian restaurants in the area – situated very close to the Port of Cabopino, it provides a great atmosphere, excellent food, and an all round satisfying experience that is hard to beat.
Leaving airport take road N340/E15 Torremolinos. Take road Marbella/Algeria's - look for the Fuengirola/Coin exit. Detailed directions will be sent to you on booking.
