There are 4 very good sized double bedrooms upstairs, one of which can sleep up to 4 people, and a large bathroom and separate toilet. Downstairs is a 5th double bedroom taking the maximum occupancy to 12. There is another bathroom downstairs along with the utility room. There is a well equiped kitchen and dining area with open access to the impressive lounge, which extends the full height of the two storey building with a spiral staircase leading to the landing on the first floor. French doors open out towards the pool area on the side, and to a private terrace at the rear of the property. There are plenty of tables and chairs for all guests to use. There is also a terrace at the front with commanding views over the french countryside with a built in barbecue.
Situated in the hamlet of Boudy de Beauregard between Monflanquin and Cancon. With 2.5 hectares of parkland and woodland, it is an ideal place to relax with a drink on the terrace or by the 10m x 5m shared pool, with plenty of room for the children to play safely. Local activities in and around Monflanquin, Aquitaine/Dordogne
The lot valley, south of the Dordogne is a beautiful, unspoilt, temperate and largely undiscovered area of self West France nestling between the Lot and the Garonne rivers. The open countryside of gentle hills and valleys provides a sense of freedom far away from the hustle and bustle of normal life, and all within driving distance of the popular Dordogne region. The area is perfect for outdoor activites such as walking, cycling, canoeing, golfing or fishing with forests, vineyards, and famland set amongst the many charming historic hill top bastide towns such as Monflanquin, Villereal, Monpazier. Bonaquil and gavaudun castles are well worth visiting.
The area is steeped with history, being part of the battlefield for the 100 years war. Only 3km from Cancon and 8km from Monflanquin both with shops, banks and restaurants. The swimming lake at Lougratte is only 5kms away. There are many vineyards nearby, including the famous St Emilion and Bergerac regions. Bordeaux is 90 mins away. For children consider the Walibi theme park, and the "park in the sky". A play park in the tree tops. Bergerac airport is only 40 kms away, and has regular flights from the UK, including regional airports such as Southampton, Bristol and Exeter.
From Bergerac take N21 south. At top of hill 1.5k before Cancon turn left onto single track road. At T junction turn left. Follow road to top of hill, take sharp right turn to Boudy. Take next left.
